ngl i've slept on them in my stuff but i plan to amend that in the future cuz i have so so so many thoughts on them
cuz like.........................
adrian being the only character in the trilogy to voice being sympathetic towards her
maggie slipping in cinder's adventure by calling him his civilian name instead of his hero one, which is a mistake Adrian himself made in canon with close loved ones he cared about
adrian giving maggie the benefit of the doubt
we never get maggie's thoughts on adrian, unlike callum who's dead, because if adrian's not gone she doesn't have to think about his influence on her life unlike callum
"you're not my dad sketch!" adrian's the only person maggie ever makes this comparison to
maggie just. seeming comfortable around him when she tries to convince him to give her nova's bracelet
they both have a tie to phobia
"one cannot be brave who has no fear" adrian's mom
"one cannot be awed who has no soul" callum
the fault they both have in that person's death
adrian talking to max about choices being reflected in how he treats maggie
maggie ending the trilogy with the belief (implied) she was always meant to be a villain
adrian visibly more frustrated with her in cinders adventure
nova and adrian's povs somewhat contrasting each other in their last interaction with maggie. Nova noting how vulnerable side of maggie, adrian noting her stubborness
excluding the epilogue, adrian's pov being the last time we see maggie
adrian acting like the closest thing to family she has
maggie and adrian both really wanted to be close to their sibling, adrian's separated by a wall and maggie's separated by a secret
He's a brother maggie chooses not to get closer to
She's a sister adrian doesn't understand yet
I need.... the story of how they met....
