You can be a white man from Stanford and rape a woman behind a dumpster and get 6 months in jail or be a black man selling cd's/having a busted tail light and die for it. The systemic oppression is real, racism is still fully alive and well, considering more black men have been killed by police today than they were during the civil rights movement. This is an outrage and can't be ignored any longer, police officers must be held accountable for their murders or we might as well be living in a police state. The video footage of Philando Castille is heartbreaking, I've been crying at work since I got here 3 hours ago. luckily no one gets here for another hour, so I have time to get my shit together. And this not even 24 hours after Alton Sterling was killed. I am disgusted with the state of our country and cannot take it any more. I can no longer live here and be a part of paying taxes that support these cowards in our police force.
