“Creepy”

I think that’s the danger of being a writer. You sculpt these masterful characters that you fall in love with, and yes, admittedly, they are probably based off people you know. However, you make these characters exactly how you want. They’re flawed yet, in a weird way, perfect. They suffer insurmountable, real-life problems, and they make poor decisions. They laugh with their heads thrown back and their mouths wide open. They ache. They love. They cry. They smile. They’re perfectly imperfect, and as a writer, you fall in love with every hill and valley on their plot-lines. But our pen dances precariously on the paper. We edge close to the rim of the cliff of reality. Being a writer is dangerous because the real world always disappoints.

i really love that the souls series has a lot of memes and in-jokes.

like from an outside perspective the souls series is a crushing, brutal, relentless series that only hardcore gamers dare to challenge, and anyone that can complete any of the games is an unstoppable force.

but when you actually get into the fandom it’s always like “lmao fuckin skeletons praise the sun”
