All of my creature comforts are back from their long voyage across the ocean so naturally the first thing I did was reread Pride and Prejudice while eating breakfast and taking a bubble bath. You know, just to get it all out of my system at once.

Question: Do you ever find yourself speaking or writing in a manner very similar to a book you’ve just read? Or a movie you’ve just seen? What was the last book or movie that had you speaking or writing like the characters?
Yes. I can’t write if I’m reading a Jane Austen novel because I get overly formal and a little longer winded. Same for other British classic authors, like Virginia Woolf, or William Shakespeare, but Jane Austen books have made me notice it the most.
