âCanât even shout. Canât even cry. The Gentlemen are coming by. Looking in windows, knocking on doors. They need to take seven and they might take yours. Canât call to mom. Canât say a word. Youâre gonna die screaming but you wonât be heard.â
Hush aired 15 years ago (December 14, 1999)
" I.. Wasnât expecting that. I guess you could. Itâs kinda lonely around the house right now anyway. "
"Yeah, I did have a date at first but my date kindly canceled on me last minute," he said with a hint of sarcasm. Â "But yeah, but we can both be lonely around the house together, of course we wouldn't be lone anymore, so we'd just be 'ly' around the house together... Anyway, Life it is?"
"You know she's not the one for you right?"She nodded her head in the direction of Anya who was inside the espresso pump((in which I opt to do an au where faith never went bad))
Xander raised an eyebrow, âWhatya mean? Â Sheâs pretty, and nice when sheâs not wreaking vengeance on others, and, you know, she likes me so thatâs a plus.â
Xander rolled his eyes back in response. Â "Faith, I appreciate that you're trying to 'help' me or something in your own way but you're help really isn't needed, okay?"
[ +1 ]
" Werenât you going out tonight or something, Xander? Or are you taking some time away to babysit me? "
"No, I'm free tonight, Dawnie. Â If you wanna hang out, that's totally cool. Â Want me to bring Life over again?"

Happy that her friend has slowed down, Willow leaned back into the wheelchair, trying to keep her thoughts off the slow but growing pain in her head. Breathing in and out, she looked up at Xander, and offered him a smile.
"Maybe we could have some fun with this? I meanâŠwe get to use all the elevators and stuff nowâŠ"
"Elevators?" Xander smiled widely. Â He loved whenever he got to use an elevator. Â "Um, yes! Â I love elevators! Â They're escalators without steps." he said, with excitement.
"Sorry, I guess I sound a little too excited, huh?"

Giving a small shrug of her shoulders, Willow tried her best to settle into the wheel-chair itself. Considering that she would be almost confined to it for the coming week, she knew that she should at least try to look on the bright side of things.
"Store? I think some ginger-ale sounds good right now. Willowtummy needs itâŠ" She started, her words instantly dropping off as a small, but sharp pain briefly burned through her head. "âŠand Willowhead needs asprin.."
He gave a half smile, "Well, we'll get some aspirin to help that Willowhead right away. Â To infinity and beyond!" he joked, as she sped the wheelchair out of the hospital room.
After realizing that the speed only increased the possibility of him crashing the wheelchair with Willow in it, leading to another injury by his doing, he slowed to a more normal speed. Â Also, one of the nurses yelled at him to slow down so that was another factor in the decision to slow down.

"Can I get you a funny hat?" She giggled as she asked the question. Leaning back a little more into the pillows behind her, Willow looked up as she heard one of the nurses enter the room, pushing a wheelchair ahead of them. Sighing slightly, she listened to what the older woman had to say, and then allowed her to help her into the chair.
"Ready to go, push-y man?" Willow asked, using the term once more as she looked up at Xander.
"Yes," he chuckled, "I do believe a funny hat would be a necessity," he smiled before the nurse entered the room.
Once Willow was all settled in the chair, Xander got up from his seat. "Yes ma'am," he said standing up and taking hold of the wheel chair handles. Â "Where to madam?"

"Pretty much." Willow answered, biting back the urge to giggle at her best friendâs reaction to the doctorâs orders. She wasnât the slightest bit happy about it herself, but it was a lot better than just having to stay for a week in the hospital. "Can you be my push-y guy? Since this is kinda your fault?"
A small smile made its way onto his lips once Willow gave him the offer to be her 'push-y guy'. Â "Yeah," he said, trying to not sound too excited. Â After all, she was in a wheelchair by his doing, but the idea of pushing her around all day sounded fun. Â "I'll be, like, your chauffeur for your limousine of a wheelchair."

He nodded, frowning slightly. Â âSo when did they say you should be out of here? Â Itâs not going to be too long right?â Â He couldnât help but feel really bad for his best friend, especially since he put her in here in the first place.
"They said I can go in an hour or twoâŠ" Willow answered, playing with the edge of the bed-sheet as she spoke. "I have to be in a wheel-chair for a week or two. They wanna make sure the concussion doesnât come backâŠstupid concussionâŠ"
"Well, I guess it's good that you won't have to be here for too long then. Â And you have to be in a wheelchair?" he continued to frown. Â "So for a week or two you'll be Willow on Wheels?"

"Its fine." Willow said, her arms still crossed over her medical gown. "Just donât do it again, got it?" Little by little, she felt her anger beginning to filter its way out of her system. She still felt as if her head were like an inflated balloon, but for the moment, she did her best to ignore it.
He nodded, frowning slightly. Â "So when did they say you should be out of here? Â It's not going to be too long right?" Â He couldn't help but feel really bad for his best friend, especially since he put her in here in the first place.
