GINGER ALE BE HITTING ALWAYS I COULD BE DYING OF EVERY POSSIBLE DISEASE AND BE BLEEDING OUT ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND TAKE A SIP OF Canada Dry AND BE LIKE ā¦.. DAMN THAT HITSĀ
The fact that Canada Dry is NOT in caps like the rest of this ENTIRE post has me in tearssss
āA man? A man has always wanted to lay me down but he never wanted to pick me up.ā - Eartha Kitt be knowing.
Respect to this soldier, heās basically just put his middle finger up to these bigots.
Sly Stallone Snubs Ryan Coogler, Michael B. Jordan and Tessa Thompson, you know the main people who helped make Creed a success...
So Sylvester Stallone got nominated for best supporting actor in a drama for Creed. Ā
No lie, Stallone earned it, put in some of the best work of his long career, at least in a long number of years. Ā But let me be perfectly clear, Stallone doesnāt get a nomination without Ryan Coogler, the writer and director of Creed.Ā
Coogler did the unthinkable when he made the long-a-hot-mess Rocky series relevant again and he performed what some Catholic priests would call a major miracle by making Rocky Balboa more than a pop culture punchline for the first time since the Reagan administration. Ā Seriously, Creed is a great movie
and this is coming from someone who saidĀ āfuck this shitā when I saw Clubber Lang in the previews for Rocky III
I pity the fool, indeed.Ā
So, Stallone wins the Golden Globe and he gets up to the podium and commences to thank everybody that was involved with the original Rocky, it seems like andā¦doesnāt say anything about Coogler and Michael B. Jordan (who was the Creed in Creed)
WTF Sly?
What a fuck up, broā¦whoa hold up, this just in, I guess Sly did give Coogler and Jordan some love after all:
But it appears Stallone corrected his mistake ā the cameras just didnāt catch it.
Ā According to reports from inside the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Stallone returned to the stage during the commercial break to thank Coogler, Jordan, and Tessa Thompson for ādoing all the workā in Creed:Ā
During the commercial breakā¦
Fuck that during the commercial break ish. Coogler should have been the main person on your list, hell Iād might say he should have been ahead of your wife! She didnāt write Creed, she can come in second.Ā
GTFO Stallone and you better not forget Coogler at the Oscars, dude!
Sly Stallone was ALSO caught calling a Black paparazzo a ān*ggerā riiiiiiight in front of TMZās cameras a couple years ago, soooooo heās no friend to us coloreds.
#PassItOn
And be ready to catch these hands
Deadass
So y'all gonna get mad about Dj Khaled yetā¦?Ā
@sleep-less-i-n-s-o-m-n-i-a-c Khaled is a PoC wtf are you talking about?
Heās 100% Palestinian, and he feels like he can say it b/c he has black friends basically. So yeah, are y'all gonna get mad about DJ Khaled yet orā¦ā¦.???
I BEEN mad about Khaled, and he needs to keep that word out his mouth.

#it is all of us who must overcome the crippling legacy of bigotry and injustice #and we shall overcome
1965 is Ā Modern history, not āancient historyā.
1965 really wasnāt that long agoā¦.
Itās over so itās history get over it.
EXCUSE YOU?
Weāre still suffering from the legacy of discrimination and slavery TO THIS DAY, so no, we canāt just āget over it.ā
Jesus fucking Christā¦.
And more to the point, my parents are 63 fucking years old. Theyāre still alive and were old enough to have experienced every bit of the inhumanity that was jim crow era segregation. Itās not āancient historyā its their actual not very distant past.Ā
You have zero right to tell anyone how to feel about their systematic disenfranchizement, past present or otherwise. The effects of being denied access to careers, equal representation and higher education are still being felt generationally, for example. None of the Jim Crow era happened in a vaccum and itās painfully myopic to pretend otherwise.Ā
Itās not that we canāt get over it, its that weāre not going to. It happened, it flies in the face of a good chuck of American values, and yet people like you would just as soon have people āget over itā and not learn anything. Congrats then on being be part of the problem.Ā
āItās over itās history get over itā????
āItās over itās history get over itā????
THIS WOMAN IS STILL ALIVE.
Amelia Boynton Roboinson is STILL AN ACTIVIST. RIGHT NOW.
GET OVER IT?????
ARE YOU GOING TO TELL HER THAT?
You can read an amazing interview with her here:
The problems still come from the racists ā the Ku Klux Klan. Theyāve whitewashed themselves. They donāt call them [the Klan] anymore, but they are still there. You know the Tea [Party]. They would not be doing the things they are doing if [Obama] had not been of color. Itās ridiculous. I believe theyāre beginning to see the light, but itās tough.
They donāt call them [the Klan] anymore, but they are still there.Ā
tonight on twitter. this trend is golden.

Leonardo DiCaprio honors Native Americans in Globes speech
Leonardo DiCaprio went home with the gold Sunday night for best actor in a drama film. As he wrapped his speech, DiCaprio took a moment to honor the Native Americans depicted in The Revenant. Twitter loved his speech just as much as the roaring audience, to say the least.Ā
Now if he could just stop hiding the Black women he messes with from the public eyeā¦.
Atlanta rapper withdraws $200,000 in cash from the bank to buy a car
The rapper said he had withdrawn the cash to buy a vehicle. Initially, Benson said he was in the market for a Maybach, but after the incident at the bank, he said he was thinking about a Ferrari.
āIām feeling fast,ā Benson said.
Withdrawing while black is a crime now. Heās lucky to be alive. Hate it!
