"W- you- could say that…"
"What? You hate it, daddy?"
"Alright, alright! If it’s student protocol! Just try not to be too impressed, alright?" He left a pause for effect. "Healing." Gregory’s eyebrows raised and eyes widened as he sarcastically faked amazement at his own ability. "I know. Totally basic but hey! I don’t get paper cuts so that’s a plus, right?" He scoffed. With a sigh, Gregory’s sudden outburst of comedic energy dissipated.
The boy glanced at her as they walked. His lips tugged into a small smile. “I bet being a shape-shifter’s pretty convenient for pranking and getting whatever you want, right? I mean what tells me you’re really yourself right now?”
In all her years at Weatherford, Nautica was always interested in healers, probably because if she could pick a power, that would be it. She wanted to be a doctor, of some sort, she wanted to help and cure people. That was why healing seemed ideal for her. Now, she could just shift into a healer and do it that way but that ran the risk of giving away her ability in a workplace environment. "I love healers! They're always so...heart warming and lovely, in my experience."
Nauti hummed pensively, tapping her chin as if to think about the question she'd beenn asked whenever meeting someone new. "I suppose so. I'm not really too good at it yet. But my mother was..in a painful and ironic kind of way. I'm sure I'll learn." She shrugged. "I guess you'l just have to trust me, Gregory."
Gregory stiffened as she jokingly responded to him. “Oh! No! I didn’t— I mean obviously you aren’t—” He stammered. “I just didn’t want to make assumptions.” It took him a few seconds to realize she wasn’t actually mad and so the tension that had suddenly took him melted. He couldn’t help but laugh it out. “Well it looks like us people who are bad at it have to stick together! That is if you’re not too cool for school and all.”
Nautica smiled in all her friendliness and shook her head. 'Hey, I'm only kidding with you. No worries." That was true, she was surprised she had never thought of it that way. Most people like them had stuck to..no one. They stayed alone most of the time but Greg seemed nice, she could live with him. Well not live, but hang out. "Are you proposing a friendship, hm?"
"That would be in my dorm room. Where my castle is basically just sheets held up by books. Oh, and papers, there’s lots of papers all over the place." he explains, trying to sounds serious despite his ridiculous story. "It’s not a particularly convenient castle."
"Come on, party pooper! Use your imaaagination." She shook her head and rolled her eyes slightly. "Haven't you ever been a kid in a blanket fort, but really a astronaut in a spaceship trying to defeat the galaxy aliens?" She rose a brow. "Don't lose that, Charming. Never lose that."
"So I did something crazy and died my hair. Do I look....crazy?
"Well hello there, Princess" a smile replaces his his ridiculous face from before, "How’s your bouncy castle been doing?"
"Hm, lonely I suppose." She shurgged and returned a generous smile. "What about you, Charming? Where's your castle?"
"Where is everyone?"
"Maybe everyone is away in their castle.."

Well they say ice cream isn’t good for you, either. But it still makes me happy.
When you work hard to achieve something, they’re sometimes a little suffering. It makes you stronger, shows you who you really are.
I just hope you're okay, you always seem very composed and I feel like no one would ever ask you but, are you alright?
Your point is that you wouldn’t subject yourself to dealing with stuck up bitches, is it not? Otherwise, please, enlighten me.
The point is, just because you can handle something, doesn't mean its good for you.
Why would you let some one shoot you in the foot? I’d just shoot them first.
You are missing the point here..
"Only if you can’t handle it."
I could probably handle getting shot in the foot but I certainly wouldn't want it."
"You could say I’m naturally competitive."
"Isn't that awfully stressful?"
Biron tried to act calmly, but the truth is his heart was about to pound out of his chest. Killing him instantly, probably. He’d thought going stag wouldn’t be so bad… but now, looking around at all the couples with their matching outfits. He almost felt sick to his stomach. “Why am I acting like a school girl? Jesus Christ.” He muttered bitterly.
You could say that Nauti was frantic, scared, nervous but she looked beautiful and composed at first glance. She noticed someone she may have met once also alone and with her natural born friendliness she decided to walk over to him, slowly to be sure not to startle him. "Not that bad, you know. Being alone. I've gone alone every year of this formal."
"I do. It gives me a chance to show all the stuck up bitches that even when I’m not playing their little games. I still win."
"Well if you say they are "bitches" why do you care to prove anything to them?"
