The monster stiffened as arms wrapped around her leg, her lip curled back into a snarl of distaste as her eyeless gaze dropped to the offender. At the sight of the demon, her tensed shoulders slumped and the snarl dropped into a scowl.

“Hello, Eon,” She greeted with a begrudging growl.

“Eon… dear, it’s been sometime. Needless to say I’m thrilled to see you,” Drathenia’s tone however suggested otherwise. The monster adjusted herself as she mentally braced herself for his answer to her question; 

“What brings you here?”

“It’s good to see you, too.” He replied. Making himself comfortable, he sat down on a fallen tree, the bark of wood crunched when he adjusted his sitting. Her verbal tone doesn’t faze him. He’s used to her unpleasant approach, but the demon likes it about her anyway.

“I’ve been traveling near your forest and I feel like seeing you. It’s been a long time since we talk like this.”

He put his hand on his chest, with raised eyebrows, smiling. “Really, I truly miss this.”
