I had every intention of buying ink for my printer, but then I saw these:

And my money flew to Japan. XD

Three of these are instant buys, but two are bids. I'll probably lose the bids since I've bid pretty close to the starting price, but hey, it's worth a try. I'll let you know if I win them. :)

The yahoo auctions sure have some interesting things! Here's someone selling a few storyboards to the opening of the Utawarerumono anime.

I love seeing storyboards: to look at the planning that goes into the animation is pretty neat! And that bonus image of Touka adoring Aruru's cuteness from afar is simply adorable. I love it. :D

Well, this is Embarrassing...

I haven't been able to scan anything else from the artbook because my printer ran out of ink.

I know what you're thinking: "you don't need ink to scan stuff, though." I thought this, too. However, because I have a printer/scanner in one, for some weird reason, when the ink runs out, I can't use the scanner until it's been replaced. I've tried looking up methods to get around this issue, and while there are some I could try, they warn that it could cause damage to the printer.

So, I'll try and buy more ink soon.

Anyone know any places I could get canon ink at a low price? ^^;

I've been trying to get a good scan of Kuuya and Sakuya, but short of bending the spine, I don't think I'll get everything from their character sheets scanned. I tried taking a picture of the pages with my digital camera, but it's behaving weirdly - every picture comes out blurred no matter what I do. I think it might be broken. :/

So I'll keep trying with the scanner. I might be able to curve the spine just enough to get a good scan without creating any wrinkles... hopefully.

This image is so incredibly small in the book, so getting a good scan of it is pretty hard. My scanner doesn't really give me any options to chose from when I scan, so this is probably the best that I can do at the moment. :(

Hi, everyone.

I've been away from tumblr for quite a long time (working through life issues, and computer troubles, too; it needed replacing). I wanted to make a comeback yesterday (since I love Halloween, and it seemed like a good holiday to come back on), but there was a surprise visit from a relative, and by the time the visit was over, so was Halloween. :(

I was going to post some Hauenkua images yesterday, as I made a promise to post him in October. I'll just have to post some of him today instead. Sorry about that. :(

Since my absence, I was lucky enough to get an Utawarerumono art book:

Other than a few little bashes to the top and bottom of the book (pretty sure this happened in the mailbox, as it was crammed in there with some junk mail...), it's in great condition. The inside pages are clean, and the artwork on them is gorgeous. I especially love the character sheets; I'll try and upload some pictures of them later on.
