Ina didn’t really understand why he was patting her nose, but it felt kind of pleasant, so she didn’t stop him. She nodded her head, sniffing softly. 

“I-.. I just..” Her voice was a whisper again. “H-his magic’s n-never stopped working before.” She spoke with a quiet fear. “K.. kaiden and I.. w.. we’re scared h-he’s dead.”

“I’m sure he’s fine, miss.” robin smiled at her softly. “it sure has another reason that his magic stopped.”

Reaching out mentally, the girl tried to feel if he was telling her the truth or not. Ina hadn’t intended on doing it, but once she had, the girl blushed, and looked away, withdrawing again directly afterwards. She felt a little bit bad, really, intruding like that.

But she needed the comfort. 

“I-I’m sorry.” She apologized. “I know I b-barely know you.. B-but would you c-come b-back and see me?”

Robin watched her for a while and chuckled internally. This is just adorable.

"huh, uh, sure. I mean, that's what friends do, right? Aslo, I don't think that the forest is in danger or something, so I got some time."

“You’re standing on the south side of the edge to my favorite forest, dear friend.” he glanced over to the trees and back to the cat infront of him. “The next town is a little far from here.”

“And do you happen to know the name of that town,” the hairless cat asked out of curiosity, although he was pretty sure he didn’t know the town.

The boy gave him a smile. His face probably already screamed the answer but, "No, not really. I kinda keep away from there."

Once more the captain was crumbled up with papers on both sides of her desk. The usual reports. Import-Export still works well, the zones seem to currently have no problem. Speaking of Zones: Her list expand herself…

Even thought no one saw her eye expression, it was noticeable that she was as confused as he is right now. Why you may ask?

”I’m asking the same question to you…I mean—how did you even get there?” Maybe he may have teleported with a red box? Or he took a ship and sailed to far away? Whatever it was the answer would have been soon. Wich she moved to the next question.

”This is the sea Zone. A huge naval station for me and my soldiers. My duty is to protect other zones from havoc and spectres that haul on them!” Sometimes she wonders how many times she need to tell new people the same she also told to others. On the other hand, she didn’t even pay attention to the deers behaviour. Careful there Captain, look for your guest.

The captain couldn't answer his question, so he can't aswel. So why keep bothering about it? "Havoc? Spectres?" The boy gave her a confused look, still leaning againt the wall. His stomach was forgotten for a while. "Sounds like a pretty tuff job for a young lady." he chuckled to himself.

He still remember his mother talking about spectres from tales and storys but he never really believed in them, neither in white skinned, weird looking, but also kind of human, creatures.

“He’ll sure come back. He seems like a tuff guy.” The boy tried to cheer her up. “He cares for you so he’ll come back for you. And i’m sure he will be glad to find out that you’re okay and that you’re over by a friend.” He pet hr nose softly, he didn’t really knew if it had the same effect to humans like to his race but it seemed right in this moment.

“Did he left any clues or messages?” Robin was worried about her. He isn’t really a person to worry much but this was- .. different.

Robin was a gentlemen in some point and he sure wouldn’t let a girl cry. He pulled her out of the hug and wiped her tears away giving her the nicest  smile he could pull right now. “It’s okay, miss.”

Ina shook her head. “S-sol thought s-something bad happened, b-because Thane left t-to do business w-with someone new a-and… and nev came…” She couldn’t finish the sentence before fresh tears start. She looked up at Robin as he pulled her out of the hug to try and wipe them away. 

“I-.. I know.” She said softly. “K-kai offered t-to let me stay w-with him, b-but.. it’s… not the same. I’m s-scared t-to leave. L-like if I g-go… he won’t come home at all.”

“Shoosh.” he played with her hair but didn’t let go of her. “when was the last time you saw him? Do you remember, miss?” 

The hug felt nice. Robin never really had to comfort someone. He didn’t had sibling to take care of and his parents never really needed comfort. He also never hugged someone else expect his parents. The Prince thought about for a minute before pulling her closer, if this was possible.

Ina shook her head. She let Robin pull her in deeper into his hug, and held on tightly to him, looking for comfort from the new friend. “I d-don’t remember.” She lamented softly. “I-.. it feels l-like it’s been forever.” She shuddered from her tears, and put her forehead against his shoulder. 

“I-it’s b-been… t-two weeks, I t-think.”

She leaned back on her chair putting the pen away and looking at both papers, then at the ones she held. It was a boring work but they had to be filled. But clearly her mind waned to sail off again.

Suddenly there was a dock on the door. There was no order or nothing. The door opens and her Assistant Lucas stood next to it. Opening the door a little more. there was a second person standing next to him.

Probably another guest, so she let them both inside. The captain smiled and saluted at the being. She didn’t feel like standing up so stayed there on the chair.

”AHOY my friend! You’re at the sea! The names Marine!”

The long corridor seemed to never end and this ‘human’ next to him seemed really weird. The prince sighed and tried to replay memories of how he got here but there was nothing before the black out. When they reached a door he got nervous. His hands got wet and he felt his stomach twirl. Where the heck was he

The Human opened the door and let Robins eyes meet with a pair of glasses. It was woman. The term Ahoy was new for him, but it sounded silly in his sight. Sea. Did she just said Sea. THE FUCKING SEA.

The boy felt panic invade his body and he needed a few moment to calm himself down. His stomach dropped and he felt that he was about to black out again. But he couldn’t do that until things get clearer. 

The boy smiled weakly and bowed down. He almost fell. “Eh. Hello miss.It’s a p-pleasure to meet you.”

She blinked curiously to the deers behaviour. If her did not fail, then by judging from his antlers it may be that specie. And by the look on his face it seems that he’s not font of the sea..nor water? who knows. By looking at his appearance he really did not seem to come from any of these Zones. Infact if so, she still hasn’t visited it. Yet again, colours and appearance may tell otherwise.

A quick moment of thinking and got instantly up, heading towards the deep offering her hand for a handshake. The bow was not really necessary but accepted the offer and bowed down as well.

”The pleasure is mine sir! Who may I then have this honor?”

"well, uh."  The boy leaned on the wall behind him, he really didn't wanted to fall right now. "It would be really nice if you could tell me where exactly I am. And if you could possible get me far away from the sea and yeah. Sorry miss." Robin smiled a little nervous.

His stomach didn't seemed to stop his dramatic doings an he still didn't felt well.

She had tried so hard to be strong, but really, Ina was struggling. She tried her very best not to cry, as she shook her head no. 

“He’s gone.” She murmured against him. “I c-can’t find him. S-sol’s g-gone to look for him.” And she was alone again.

He hugged her tighter, stroking her messy hair. “It’s okay miss. I’m sure he’ll be back soon.” Robin felt his ches hurt, he didn’t really knew what it was but it was the same feeling he got when he saw the forest fire. “It will be fine, i promise.”

“V-violet’s not right anymore.” Ina said softly as he hugged her tighter. He smelled strange- like earth and mud. The nice kind of mud, not the dirty kind that people drove through, or stamped through and tromped all over the place.. Just…  Nice. Pleasant. 

She sniffled. 

“I d-don’t wanna be alone again, Robin,” She whispered. “I c-can’t remember being alone, but… I know it felt like this, and I don’t want it.”

Ina was quite startled when he wrapped his arms around her, and the kiss on her forehead left the girl feeling oddly at ease. She leaned against him, letting him hold her. It was rare for someone aside from Thane, Sol or Kai to hold onto her like that, even if it was merely out of pity. 

“I-it’s okay.” She showed him a little smile, in an attempt to put him at ease. “I-I’m okay. I do okay. I h..” She had Thane. Now Thane was gone. Missing. Kidnapped… But Violet had stopped glowing, and Ina had the sinking, sick feeling in her belly that made her wonder if he was gone. More than gone. 

More than gone.

“I have T-thane. H-he adopted me.”

He let go of her a while to watch her expression, to see if she’s lying. He pulled her back into the hug and reste his head on her shoulder. “Are you sure, miss?”
