Okay I lied the actual weebiest thing about me is that I get really fucking turned on by extremely honorific Japanese in sexual situations.

To briefly infodump, Japanese has several axes of honorifics. There's politeness, which shows a small amount of respect to the listener (this is the desu and masu you may hear in anime and memes) but then there's also sonkeigo and kenjōgo. Sonkeigo shows respect to the subject of the verb and kenjōgo shows respect to the object or indirect object by humbling the subject. You only use these when speaking about a superior, and using keigo (the general term for both) implies that the person you're talking to/about is superior to you.

The way this works is primarily by using supplementary verbs (irassharu instead of iku/kuru/iru) or with honorific verb constructions (o-nomi-ni naru instead of nomu for sonkeigo, o-nomi-suru for kenjōgo, or something like go-ran kudasaimase for a request)

Now this is a very normal and non-sexual aspect of the Japanese language but. Use it during sex and oh my god.

The pathetic submission of talking to the person fucking you with the politest of language, every single word showing that you know your place beneath them and you're doing your best to serve them, is insane. The difference between 精液ください (seieki kudasai, please give me your cum) and ご主人様、ご精液くださいませ (goshujinsama, go-seieki kudasaimase, master, please give me your cum) isn't translatable (except for the addition of the word "master" which I've only learned to like because I enjoy it in Japanese). The over-the-top formality of something like おフェラさせていただけないでしょうか？ (o-fera sasete itadakenai deshō ka?) can't really be expressed in English (the best I could think would be something like "Please would you allow me the privilege of sucking your dick?" but that doesn't feel quite as over-the-top and respectful).

Submissiveness in English just doesn't reach the same level because our language doesn't mark politeness and respect so explicitly. This is why I will never be satisfied with how an English speaker submits to me. Be good porn for me and learn some pathetic hyper-formal Japanese phrases to turn me on properly.

Maybe one day I'll get to live out my fantasy of having a girl dogeza for me and beg me to use her cunt like I deserve to as pathetically and submissively as the Japanese language will allow. 🥴

What do you think are some underrated hypno tropes?

I've been particularly getting into this lately, but I really enjoy the concept of transformative hypnosis--particularly if it involves dressing up a sub to match their new state of mind (example: Gothification)

As for other underrated tropes, I'd also like to shout out a particularly underrated means of monsterfolk hypnosis in that of genies. It doesn't really get much spotlight here on tumblr, but I think it's another solid choice of "Humanoid Hypnotic Creature" to throw characters into situations.
