My and my husband Johnny really enjoyed them! We have repurchased them since trying them out and we both like how it is a more guilt free snack! Will continue to repurchase! All opinions are my own.
Mother's Day! ......Late Post!
I know mother's day was like two moths ago but, I have been swamped with projects and am now just getting to posting this! So for Mother's Day I made some dishcloths for mom and my mother in law.
They got one of each color I made. And of course I used some Hobby Lobby yarn! I used the I Love This Cotton. I got them when they went on sale for $2.66.
I really liked the colors and how they turned out!
I tied both sets of dishcloths in some yarn and added a crochet heart! And they loved them!
I had to get my mother in laws shipped ASAP so I didn't have time to make a card for her so we just bought her one. I was able to make my mom one though!
I used some frisket and watercolor to make the card
It can be pretty pricey stuff so I used a 40% off coupon.
Basically you just write out or design what you want on watercolor paper with a pencil and brush on the frisket with a cheap thin brush. If you don't wash the brush immediately after you use it with soap and water, it can ruin the brush. Let the friskut dry and begin to watercolor a background. I used a warm color pallet and blended them together. After that's dried you can begin to rub off the friskit. You can use a rubber cement eraser or just your fingers.
Once your done you can use a straight edge and make clean lines for the card and your done!
My mom loved it and so it was a successful Mother's Day! I will be posting about some baskets I crocheted with t-shirt yarn and fabric yarn later this week!

Madison's First Birthday!
So I'm a little late on this...but I'm so excited to share the pictures I took of Madison's first birthday! I was invited to the party so these are three of my favs from that.....
Her mama out did herself with the decorating too. It was all so cute!
Now for the cake smash photo shoot we did a week after....

Late night crocheting...
I had a hard time falling asleep last night so I pulled out some left over yarn from the scarf I made my mother in law and started to make a flower
That turned into two...
And then I made a heart too!
I would have kept going but I go really tired after that. I like to keep myself busy and crocheting helps with that! Plus I gotta use up all this left over yarn from projects. I'm thinking about making a scrap blanket of all left over yarn. I think it will be fun and colorful, but we will see how that goes.
Headbands and new equipment!
So I love headbands and I saw this cute nautical knot one on pinterest! It was so cute and I wanted to replicate it. I of course being me didn't buy enough ropey trim stuff so instead of the fuller double one I went for the simple single knot. I love it!
I decided to use some fun mustache ribbon I got from my secret santa at work and made another one!
I was happy I finally got to use! I also recently got a background stand for my photography. I ordered it off amazon and once I got it in I ran to home depot and hobby lobby and got my new set up in place!
I got the blue polka dot and the faux wood backgrounds from hobby lobby and the clamps, molding and a good piece of wood go under the faux wood floor, all from home depot. I am absolutely in love with it and it was an easy set up! can't wait to take pictures with it!
crochet bow headbands!
So my friend Lexy sent me a pin on pinterest because that's what we do! Anyways, it was of this cute crochet headband with a bow on it! So of course I wanted to make her one! Only because she asked so nicely but, I also ended up making myself one too! Lol!
And now we have bestie headbands! So cute right?
My long hiatus
Since after thanksgiving I was so busy trying to finish gifts! I was non stop! In between I had a first Christmas shoot with little Miss Madison!
Isn't she a cutie?!?!??! Anyways, now for my projects! I literally was rushing to get all this stuff done!

For my mom's birthday I took some family photos for her. She was always saying how that's something I've never done for her and how she would really appreciate it if it was something I could do. So I did! she is seriously an amazing strong independent woman and I have always looked up to.
It was a great day and I'm really glad we all got to spend the day together. my mom was all smiles the whole day!
Crochet Crazzzzzzziness!
Crocheting is so addicting! All I want to do is buy more yarn! I have been making so many scarfs lately. I love it! They are going to make great gifts if only I could stop making them for myself! In a nutshell this what I'm talking about when I say crochet is addicting.
Jewlery wire!
So I got some jewelry wire and tools at work! I've been looking on Etsy and they have some cute wire rings on there! so I decided to take a whack of it! Let me tell you it is not easy! lol. But I loved the end result! will definitely make more for Christmas gifts!
So much going on!
I feel so bad because I haven't updated this in awhile so just a quick rundown photography wise.....I took some stinking cute pictures of baby Madison! at Bob's Corn in Snohomish, WA. They had their fall stuff going on with the pumpkin patch it was so much fun! How cute is she?!?!?!??!?!
Also my cousin recently had a birthday! It was a nice little family get together. Best of all I made her gifts! I made a cute infinity scarf in a gray Hobby Lobby "I Love This Yarn". it was soft and I thought she could match it easily! And I framed a picture of her that I was taken this summer.

Finished Senior Portraits! It's been a good week!
I finally have finished editing the pictures for my two last senior portrait sessions! I feel like I am on a roll! here are my favorites from each session:

And this is my favorite of the session with my little sister! We had so much fun. She was always one of my models when I was in school. She is seriously an amazing person and I am so proud of who she has become.
I also stumbled upon a picture I took of my baby Buster! he is such a cutie! Overall great week!

I couldn't wait to release one of the pictures I just finished editing. I had a session with Ashley from Bothell! She was really sweet and lots of fun! I can't to finish them up to show her the finished products!
Two projects in one
So I finally got a chance to write about the blanket I finally finished crocheting for my mother in law. It was suppose to be a mothers day gift and it's September....that's just to give you an idea of how long it took me to get to and I was suppose to make one for my mom to! We scratched that idea and gave her flowers instead because it was taking me forever!Anyways, I brought it up on my trip to Alaska to give to her. She loved it!
This is a picture with my puppy the day we first got him! I was working away on it since way back then! he's so big now!
Here's a better picture! I saw this on pinterest, taking three yarns and crocheting it into a blanket. I got the yarn at work (hobbylobby) I love the I Love This Yarn! ( hehe ;] ) It's so soft and doesn't split like the Red Heart Super Saver. I also got the size Q crochet hook from work, the Yarnology brand. It took almost 9 skeins to finish the blanket. It was a project! I think the next time I make this kind of blanket I'll be more prepared.
I used a blueish color and a mint colored yarn and a green one, but the mint colored one ended up looking white next to the other two colors.
The mint color was my favorite out of the three! so I decided I wanted to make something out of the left over yarn I had.
I started the headband the night before Me and my husband left for Alaska and I worked on it on the plane. finished the band and flower by the time we landed and ended up sewing it together the next day. I love it! I was satisfied with the two projects I was able to accomplish. I thought I was never going to finish that blanket, but I did! and now I'm crocheting more. Even got new yarn for my birthday!
Finished editing one of my seniors pictures! they turned out great! Loved working with her.
