I took a day off on Thursday so I could go to my doctor appointments in peace without rushing back to work. It turned out to be a shitty day with electricity shortage in every clinic I’ve to plus a migraine.

Obviously today I had to work five times more than usual because I missed the day and because tomorrow I’ll be taking another day off for my birthday. Which I’m going to pay for on Tuesday. Ugh.

At least I got to see the babe today <3

"Destiny?" He scoffs. "I been searchin' for her, for me son, for years now. Ye think it's destiny ta no' see me own son grow up? Don't ye think it's--selfish'f her? I missed the first three years, I don't wanna miss the next ten. You don't think I deserve a chance? An explanation? I don't deserve ta be with me son?"

Z looked at the light in the studio, reminding her she was still on air. “We’re gonna take a little break for commercials...”

Her tone changed drastically after she flicked the button and the light changed, indicating they were offline.

“I’m not making any excuses for her, but I can only assume she did what she thought was the best thing for her kid. With all due respect to the baby daddy, she had to act fast. Would you have preferred them staying around if that meant putting your son in danger???”

“Maybe she had a good reason to leave without telling anyone and it was too hard and too dangerous to say goodbye.” Her voice was firm even though her hands were shaking she found a pen just so she could play with something nervously and try to calm herself down. Maybe some things are not meant to be, you know? Even if two lives keep circling back and finding each other all of a sudden... Destiny is a very cruel thing...”
