You can add sugar or honey to your food if you need it to taste sweeter, that's okay. It's just like adding salt to make it more salty. It's allowed. Thinking about Bocchi and Hiroi and how Hiroi used alcohol to get over her social anxiety and mental health issues and how Bocchi is getting better due to her friends. I love the parallels between them. Hiroi's path is so easy for people with anxiety or autism or mental health issues. But Bocchi has her friends as a crutch. She can get better because of her friends. She can surpass Hiroi in a healthy way. I just think it's so lovely and beautiful seeing how both characters change and grow especially in the manga
