I’d be more comfortable if dancing was just dancing. But nothing’s ever so simple.

It’s not but that doesn’t mean you can’t make what you have comfortable.

That’s much more than most people could hope for. Although I think the most important part is that you’re comfortable - happiness being even better. Kinda tough to get that overall happy feeling with work and competition overloading you, though.

Half of our roommate agreement is that I don’t leave you ever lacking in anything edible. I’m failing to uphold my end of our deal.

Classes are good. I’m just feeling like a small fish in a huge pond sometimes. But I’m also guessing that’s college for everyone. Don’t think I’ve ever looked forward so much to a break. How are you holding up?

My gummies es su gummies or whatever.

Uh, okay, I guess. I mean, I have some moments where I think my world will end and college is the worst but I think overall I am pretty happy. My grades are okay and i have a solid friend group...

That’s too cute! Does she go here, too? There’s something that’s really super tragic and beautiful about making something long distance, though.

I think I don’t rank that bad in that ‘worst roommates to have’ list considering how I don’t really do anything too noisy during your quiet hours. Unless we count waking up too early and dropping my brush when I’m drowsy.

She goes to Iowa so totally long distance.

That’s because I am the jerk roommate who is loud and running into things.

You’re my friend. I’m belatedly thankful for having you.

He told me they met at a day camp when they were kids and that she’s, like, a year older than him, and they were always kind of orbiting each other and then on a trip she was paired with him and the rest is history.

Like, honestly had me tearing up in lab. So genuinely sweet. Shucks, hon. I am thankful for you too. You’re the bestest of the best.

Jamie Dornan doesn’t have to be everybody’s type, though. And the fact that he seems to be genuinely nice counts. Having an agreeable partner that you can work with always does.

Oh! Not that you’d need any help with exams, though. I’ve seen how much work you put into things.

He doesn’t. Dornan is my type but he’s his girlfriend’s type. They have a super sweet story that’s, like, right out of a teen movie. So adorable.

He sounds super cute! In, you know, not that way. Unless he is, in that way. A fighting chance? I’m sure you’ll be the top percentile of the class. You’re all fired up for it already. Am I allowed to cheer you on in this thing? Emma’s taught me a few new ones. Do you guys get to do, um, group exams? Like, in pairs?

He is! Not in, like, a scruffy Jamie Dornan way but in, like, a John Francis Daley on Bones kind of way. He’s really funny, too, and even though science isn’t my forte he doesn’t make me feel dumb.

Uh, I don’t think so. At least, I haven’t heard anything. We do weekly projects, though.

It’s pretty likely that in no-time I’ll have watched the crossover twelve times. Because, did you see his face? That face? I wanna marry that face.

Ooh, you did? That’s a yay. That’s a good time for a yay right there. Has it been a smooth transition?

It has been! He’s, like, awesome. He’s from Michigan and has this cute little nasally accent and he actually does his share of the work. Plus, plus, he actually knows what he’s doing. I may have a chance, here.

You know I’m super objective sometimes. But I was really only paying attention to his voice. Like that one time Caitlin was drunk and gushing over karaoke-Barry.

Most of the population can’t be trusted on their opinion, if we’re being honest. Or just those that uphold one ex member of a girl group before the remaining and better-than-ever ones. Sorry. I got into another one of those conversations.

The musical episode was really great. I think I have watched it, like, three times.

Oh, yes. Let’s move on before we start in on Camila fans again. Did I tell you that I got my lab partner changed?

You’re saying that pretty loudly - as if you wanted to embarrass me. I do think I embarrassed myself by referring to ‘Glee’ out loud. But there’s, you know, his voice.

and his face....and his abs...

Glee wasn’t that bad. I mean, the music. The plots were horrible but anyway, who cares what these people think? They liked Girls and Ben Affleck as Batman. Their taste cannot be trusted.
