Não terminei a leitura, mas recomendo este clássico lançado aqui pela @editoraaleph! Um universo alternativo bem escrito e detalhado pelo Philip K. Dick onde os países do Eixo (Japão e Alemanha nazista) venceram a 2ª Guerra e subjugaram o mundo a suas doutrinas. Apesar de escrito há mais de 50 anos, o livro pontua pensamentos preconceituosos e a artificialidade do consumo (refinado) cultural. Chega a ser um incômodo pensar que isso também faz parte da nossa realidade atual. #books #livros #maninhighcastle

So, last Wednesday I could finally watch the 8th Quentin Tarantino movie, The Hateful Eight. It's not his best, not really, but I found out some very nice stuff in TH8: 1) Samuel L. Jackson is, by far, at his BEST; 2) Robert Richardon's Photography captures the winter landscapes so well and you might shudder before those beautiful sunlight/moonlight nuances; 3) QT has improved directing his cast; 4) Zoë Bell needs to have more space in the next and last QT movies; 5) Jennifer Jason Leigh can be as cheerful and evil as well; 6) Ennio Morricone's new western score is as remarkable as his Sergio Leone's movies soundtracks; 7) TH8 is more than a just western-based flick, is a tale about the circle of hatred through generations; 8) Beyond prejudice, politics or whatever causes war, human beings are a storyteller breed.
