I always loved to go for run as part of the preparation for my fights or just as an active recovery. I found it's not only a great cardio exercise but also a great way to clear my mind while doing it. For the past year I was pretty much forced to stop. I was experiencing severe calves and Achilles tendon pain to the point my feet would get numb 2 min into the run. I did some research and addressed the problem with some ankle mobility exercises and strengthened my glutes and hips. Finally I can run pain free again. Time to set a new goal.
