As SOON as Wylan says he wanted to squeeze Jesper's hand, Jesper's immediate response is to do just that.

And Wylan loses his train of thought.

Wylan, who has lived his whole life thinking that he wasn't worth loving, is now just constantly casually snuggled and affirmed by this warm, affectionate ball of chaos that is Jesper. We see it in the background all the time, Jesper putting his arm around Wylan, Jesper stepping in front of him when danger shows up, Jesper loudly cheering him on when he does something brilliant, Jesper making eye contact with him before he steps out to fight the Inferni... He just embraces Wylan fully in every possible way and it's so lovely to see Wylan just pause and soak it up sometimes.

Safety amidst the chaos of the world they live in, in the way they both really needed safety.
