Stolen Sanguine is mainly just a sandbox AU for me to play around with vampirifying cherry-picked DP lore and messing with the character dynamics I like (and drawing Vlad in outfits that would get him kicked out of all respectable establishments)

Two bits of AU lore I may not have mentioned in previous posts:

Spectra and Bertrand live together and their dynamic is much the same as in canon, with him being subservient to her. This is typical in relationships involving two vampires under the same roof; Aragon and Dorathea were another example.

Desiree is an ancient vampire (the personal concubine of the Vampire King and said to rival him in sheer power) and will (probably) become important later on. Legends say that she was able to grant any wish with her blood magic, which is an enticing promise for those brave enough to seek out where she's lain sleeping for a thousand years...
