OKAY SO basically I have this idea for a fanfiction about Hazel and Gat not long after they start traveling together, so they're still figuring out how they work together, but also run into a bunch of trouble. I want to make a whole post on my thoughts about Saiyuki Kagekiden Darkness (I will somehow cover all my feelings about this musical) because I certainly have a few of them, but I’m thinking and really wanted to share

The bet between Hazel and the ikkou in the scene after the youkai child isn’t mentioned there in Darkness. Instead, after Hazel apologizes, Goku sings an uplifting song to the youkai child. As he sings, Hazel also reacts to Goku’s words.

Afterwards, he then says what Goku has to say is interesting and refers to him by his name for the first time. Hazel doesn’t linger, he leaves quickly (Goku turns to look at him but he’s already walking away).

I really like it, and I feel it lets the audience see a little more into the feelings that Hazel doesn’t show to others. At this point in the musical we’ve already seen the very beginning of Sunspot, so it ties in well, and we can make a connection.

I just really like that and have appreciation for it.

So saying, when I unskillfully made a fuss and offered a hand, he became angry. “What unnecessary actions…… All you need to do is watch over me from behind.” When I remained silent, unsure of his words’ true meaning, the young man whispered, still with his thin back to me, “Being watched over by someone else – your heart won’t break that way.” Those words were, in the end, tough and somehow self-deprecating. He didn’t mean “It’s comforting having someone else with you”; he meant that he, who found nothing more embarrassing than exposing an awkward fact to others, bet his pride on insurance in order to avoid losing to himself. If that was better than my not being here, I don’t mind If he said watch, I’d do so until this body decayed and disappeared. Only when I am needed — then in an instant these arms that have lost their living warmth can cross that distance Fate falls without a sound

I’m looking to be more active in fandom again. I’ve looked for events but I’ve missed sign ups for all of them, ha ha. I’m getting back into yugioh alongside my undying love of Saiyuki, and so you’ll see me probably become a Spectre enjoyer as I get into vrains. I feel it happening. Ryo Marufuji is my favorite GX character.

I’m going to be working on more stuff, both saiyuki and yugioh. I hope everyone enjoys it.
