((Giving in for the night!
Goodnight.))
A low growl came from him as she reached for him. It was more instinct than anything and his ears flattened when he realized what he had done. He shifted and sat up, looking to Diana apologetically as he slid off the couch and nodded to her to lead the way.
Diana just let out a sigh and patted his head. "It's okay, you didn't bite and you know you did wrong, it's okay." She reassured him kindly and moved up to the master bedroom, the one the twins normally shared, but apparently not tonight.
She moved past the bed, making sure Crow was following along to the bathroom. The bath already having been made, the air a little thick from the steam and the water was still nice and warm. "Go on."
Warming up? Crow’s temperature already ran hotter than a human’s, so why would he need to warm up. He lifted his head briefly to stare at her a moment before huffing and laying his head back down into the crook of his arm. A full stomach always managed to make him sleepy and he nuzzled more into a ball.
"No, no. Come here." She scolded lightly before moving over to Crow. "I'll carry you if I have to, dear. You can't sleep on the couch." Diana reached down to pick him up, but waited to make sure he wouldn't trash around when she did.
The praise, even while half asleep, was registered. His tail thumped against the seat and he nuzzled against her more as he dozed. The car slowing down had him raising his head, watching Charles go with twitching ears. He turned his head and looked to Diana before crawling away from her and out of the car. Now he was somewhere where it smelled familiar. It was comforting. He moved into the home and straight to the couch to curl up.
Charles was about to complain about the dog dirtying down the couch, but he just didn't feel like it, anyway, it was Diana's problem tonight. "Night." He called behind himself before retreating to his own room for once.
"Come on Crow, you could need some warming up." Any word but bath should work, and the wolf already seemed to like the large warm tub from the first day they brought him home.
Crow was already dozing on Diana’s lap, ears twitching here and there as the noise shifted. His tail was curled around him, keeping him warm as he nuzzled against her thigh and softly snored. His ears twitched when he heard his name, eyes opening a little before he let out a soft huff in response. An affirmative noise despite being horrible at choosing things.
Diana smiled softly at him and draped an arm over Crow's shoulder. "Such a good boy." She murmured and leaned back.
By the time they got to the house it was dark out, Charles went inside the second the car was parked in the garage. He was too tired right now so he was heading for at the very least a nap. "Crow, hun. We're home now."
Crow was still half awake, listening as his ears twitched on top of his head. The smell of food roused him long before Diana did as his tail thumped against the seat. He reached for one of the boxes and yanked it open to grab a piece to scarf down. He went through five pieces before his stomach protested. He laid down, licking at his fingers and hands as he made himself comfortable half on Diana’s lap.
Charles parked the car so he could eat as well, Diana handed over one of the boxes to him before taking one for herself, expertly balancing it on her thigh. She gave a small chuckle at how happy Crow seemed to be over the food.
After about half an hour both the twins were content, Charles only leaving two pieces while Diana had about half her pizza left. The boxes where places in the front seat and moment later they were on the road again. "Crow hun, tonight, after we've had out little swim, you get to decide what we do, but only tonight, okay?"
Sleepy times for the mun~ Night night
Crow snuggled against her chest, the nest of her arms and the blanket making drowsiness easy. His ears twitched at the mention of food, but nothing else. He was hungry, but he also hadn’t gotten much sleep while being locked up.
Diana noticed him drowsing and smiled softly down at Crow. "You sleep, hun. We'll wake you up later." she murmured and nuzzled at him. "Twenty minutes before pick up, Di." Charles whispered and received a nod in return.
After about well, twenty minutes they stopped outside the pizza place and Charles went to get the food, a peperoni pizza, a bacon and beef pizza as well as a mozzarella and prosciutto pizza. "Crow hun, food."
The praise had his tail wagging with renewed vigor, thumping loudly as she fastened it. When it was on, he brought his hands up to run along the soft leather before he half crawled onto Diana to nuzzle at her shoulder and lick at her cheek. "Thank."
She smiled softly, placing a kiss to Crow's cheek in return. "You're welcome." Diana replied and pulled a blanket from the back over his back while wrapping an arm around his waist. "Called for take away?" "Yeah, pizza. We'll pick it up on the way." Charles replied, voice having gone softer now, seeing his sister and Crow both in a good mood.
Crow crawled in when the door was opened. He didn’t really like cars all that much but he’d put up with it to get back home. The distraction of the new collar had his tail thumping against the seat as he reached for it to examine it. He whined happily and held it out for Diana before tilting his head back to expose his throat. A sign of trust to expose a part of him so vulnerable.
Diana took it with care, ghosting her fingers over his neck before nuzzling at it. "Good boy." She murmured and wrapped the collar around his neck, fastening it so you could fit a thumb between his neck and the leather. "There we go."
Food was a major motivating factor for him. He rubbed at his bare neck and looked to them both, “New collar?” He had lost it when he got lost. He had gotten snagged on some wire and he had to work to get it open so he didn’t choke himself. He licked at Diana’s jaw and bolted towards the car he knew. It smelled like the twins so it wasn’t really that hard to find it.
Diana nodded with a soft smile, having a collar ready in the car for whenever they found him. It was far more important that Crow was alright than where the collar had gone. Even if Charles was a bit put out by the fact the collar was gone.
The twins followed after to the car, Charles getting in the drivers seat and Diana hopped into the back, motioning for Crow to come sit with her. "I've got your new collar right here."
Crow didn’t seem to notice Charles as he let his hand be held and led. He was too happy to be out of the shop and with what he considered his pack. His tail was thumping against the backs of his thighs as he looked up at Diana and then back to Charles. He beamed, uncaring of the look on Charles’ face as he looked ahead of himself again. "And eat?" he questioned, looking up at her expectantly.
"And eat." The twins said, Charles sounding more tired than happy, but there was a small smile tugging on his lips. Diana on the other hand was smiling broadly, nuzzling at Crow now and then.
"I can order in while you two 'take a swim'." A swim was of course a bath in the quite large jacuzzi tub, but back when they had just found Crow he seemed more inclined to see it as a pool for a swim more than a bath to get cleaned.
Crow was still whining, pleased to be back with the twins. He nodded his head eagerly, “Home!” It was a garbled mess when he tried to speak this excited. He nuzzled into her again and looked to Charles warily before moving to him to curl his arms around. He nuzzled into his shoulder. "Want leave." He finally managed to say as he pulled away and looked between the two of them.
Diana carefully let him go, directing a smug smile towards Charles who had given in and starting to rub Crow's back in long soothing strokes. "Don't say a word, Di." He grumbled but gave Crow a tight hug none the less.
"Yeah, lets go." She agreed and took Crow's hand, Charles shoved both his hands in his pockets, still being a stubborn idiot. "He still love you, dear. He's just a bit hard headed sometimes."
Crow heard his name and it took him a moment to register just whose voice it was. He jumped up and ran back to the window. His ears were folded back and his tail wagging as he let out a loud whine and clawed at the window. It was a wail until the door was unlocked and he jumped out to run to both of them. He continued to whine, arms clutched tight around Diana as he nuzzled into her chest.
"Shh shh, it'a okay. We've got you, dear, We've got you." She soothed, arms tightly wrapped around Crow as well. Charles sighed, sure he liked Crow, loved his sister as he always had, but the pup was a hand full. "Took some time to find you, Crow." He murmured while petting the wolf's head.
"Come on, lets get on home. And Charles, stop being such a grump." Diana scolded lightly, not entirely sure why he'd grown to be such a grouch now more, maybe he's reaching a mid-life crises or something. "And you, Crow. We're going to take a small swim when we get home." She cooed. "Good, means I get to sleep."
Crow could still see people walking around in the shop. He had to stand on his toes and peer out so he could watch. The owners had thrown him into the isolation pens after he bit one of them…but it was only cause she had said he was stupid! His ears twitched, huffing before moving away from the window to curl up on the small bed. Maybe they were right, no one wanted a runt.
It hadn't really been their fault, no matter what Diana said. How were they suppose to keep an eye on the runt all the time. Charles had been tempted to just leave it and move on, but his sister was intent on getting Crow back, and really Charles did miss the pup, even if he himself wasn't the best suited owner.
"There!" Diana exclaimed, seeing his name on the papers in front of them. "That one." She smiled and stood up, pulling Charles along to get him. "Crow!"
Crow rubbed at his chest, the blood already stopping as it slowly started to heal. He huffed against her and nuzzled her shoulder. "Want watch screen." Now he just wanted to be lazy and watch cartoons.
"Okay, do you want me to get blankets and pillows as well?" She didn't care he was still dirty from yesterday evening, hell, Charles could clean all that up later. "Do you need me to carry you, hun?" She could, though it was a little bothersome for her.
Crow’s body arched and he managed to get a hand free so he could try an shove Charles away. He whined loudly and rubbed at the sore spot that was bleeding. His ears flattened and his tail tucked as he curled up in Diana’s lap and hid his face.
Diana rubbed Crow's back, nuzzling at his hair. "You'll let him fuck you, understand, and today, I'm going to spoil him rotten." She said simply and Charles nodded. "I'll take care of some businesses calls then. I'll be in the office." He replied and threw on some clothes and headed out the room. "Do you want to swim in the warm water tub?" She asked Crow softly. "We'll do whatever you'd like today, to make you feel better after what Charles did."
