Superglad 2015 Demo Footage (PC / Console / Mobile game) Last few months I’ve been realising my childhood dream of working as an animator on a video game. Superglad is a puzzle adventure, with a lovely dreamy illustration style by the talented Fran Coles. Been using Spine to animate character rigs in a way no entirely dissimilar to After effects or flash puppet rigs.  Enjoy the frog in tighty whities.

Thanks for replying so fast! No particular image really, I'm wanting to get into digital drawing and everything is just so block-y and static, I can't seem to get my head around blending and getting the shadows right, especially with the face...

It varies depending on if you want to do something clean and 'animationey' or if you after more of a concept art look in mind. It really comes down to brushes ( lots of amazing concept artist people give away loads of amazing brush sets for photoshop on deviant art and stuff), and making good use of layers! Ill try and put something together when Im back!

Got home from the Frank Gladstone storyboard class today at @lupusfilms only to switch on 'i know that voice' (cartoon coice overs documetry) and get to see him again on the tv!

The Ant hill mob, my entry for the first challenge on animchallenge.tumblr.com To be frank I left this way too late. I wanted to really have fun with the characters. With some hanging on the sides, Tommy guns, baseball bats the works. In the time I left myself I decided to stick with the comedy of them all being tightly packed in the front when there's so much room.  Looking forward to the next animchallange!

Clean and neat doesn't come easy to me so I enjoy doing corperate promotional videos in order to push out of my comfort zone. Iv actually grown to love these jobs where, without the cushion of a narrative, you try to communicate as consisely as possible. Also my real passion is for movement, plain and simple, and motion graphic style promotional videos can give you a real pure opportunity to practice those core animation principles.
