June Rodil was born in the Philippines and raised in Texas, June joined Houston-based, freshly formed Goodnight Hospitality as a partner in 2019 and opened two new concepts the same year: Montrose Cheese & Wine and Rosie Cannonball, a 2020 James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Wine Program.

Previously, June was VP of Operations for McGuire Moorman Hospitality, based in Austin, TX, and headed operations for 11 concepts. She remains a partner in June’s All Day, her namesake restaurant that was named one of Food & Wine magazine's Restaurants of the Year in 2017, I was AGM at June's during this time. June is one of 29 women in the Americas to earn the Master Sommelier credential.

To me, June will always be a mentor. Very early in my role as General Manager of June's All Day, June and I were sitting in our then-shared office space when the silence was broken by a very stern June "June's P&L is horrible, fix this shit" and then she started rattling off categories that were out of wack. Honestly, I had heard about P &L's, sat through many weekly manager meetings with the MMH executives, and listened to these numbers but I was never personally responsible for them. Now here I was in charge and asked to fix it. I told June, sure show me, walk me through the P&L, and she did that day and regularly whenever I needed. Always available to me, and willing to share her knowledge.

Dewberry Hills Farm Fundraiser to Repair and Rebuild Facilities damaged in last year's tornado and by recent floods. Torrential rains and 75 mile per hour winds from a recent severe storm destroyed Central Texas’s Dewberry Hills Farm’s chicken tents and flooded their pastured poultry farm, causing many chickens to drown. This horrific storm is the fourth weather catastrophe Dewberry Hills Farm has faced in less than a year. In order to prevent future climate devastations from harming the farm, Dewberry Hills needs to construct more durable chicken coops that can withstand extreme weather conditions at the farm.

Established in 1999, the family-owned Dewberry Hills Farm provides an alternative to factory-farmed poultry and operates in a natural, compassionate manner. Implementing its own chemical-free approach to modern farming, Dewberry Hills Farm functions in accordance with nature. The farm operates sustainably to raise affordable, grass fed chickens for the Central Texas community. To maintain the farm’s humane focus and praxis, Dewberry Hills Farm needs the funds to protect their chickens from future severe weather conditions.
