Tragically, there was only about 3 people who recognized it, but everyone who did know what it was got REALLY excited about it! I did get a lot of compliments from people who just liked the costume even though they didn't know the show, though.

Ahhh, little Boosh fandom makes me happy :).

We’re small, but perfectly formed, and it’s always easy to keep up with the tags. We have some ‘famous’ bloggers, but most people follow most people and there’s a genuine friendliness - we know each other’s names, we say happy buffday :). Even though our show ended years ago (sob) we are still active and keen to create new stuff, be it fic, or art, or gifsets, and equally keen to praise others for their fic, or art, or gifsets. It’s allowed, nay encouraged, to comment on other people’s posts, and opinions are respected and built upon - even if we don’t actively participate, the discussions are fun to watch! We have some of the best artists on tumblr, but they are not considered the elite - everyone mucks in and has a go. We respect the boys, and their partners, and they respect us in turn. We’re very lucky.

This, this exactly. I've never had a tumblr before this, and most of the things I like are small/fringe fandoms. But I stumbled here just for somewhere to post my doodles, and I was amazed. Boosh fandom is like a little family. I thought, wow, I'm going to draw so many things for this nice little group of people. It's been really inspiring for me artistically, because the feedback I got really made me feel like I was touching peoples' days and making them just a little bit brighter.

I seriously just love you all. :'3

SHIT I just realized I missed Boosh art club for March. It's uh the 10th of April uhhhh. It's been a weird month. (I'm still going to contribute to the theme though when I have time.) <:I Hopefully I get April's done before like October.
