((hey guys. i've got good news and bad news.))

((good news first; i'm alive. :D))

((bad news; i'm stepping away from the rping scene with Ruli. it's just causing me way too much stress and it's not fun to rp here much anymore. i have a lot of things going on in my life right now, and i'm afraid i'm going to have to cut back on some of the things i no longer have time for, and unfortunately, Rulindil is one of them.))

((i want to say that it is NO ONE's fault that i am no longer rping. i just have lots of things to do, and my life to live. this has been fun while it's lasted, but like all good things, it has to come to an end eventually. i've really, truly enjoyed my time here rping with each and every single one of you, and i will miss you all dearly. i love you guys very much and hope for nothing but your happiness this day forwards. <3))

((i have been debating what to do with this blog and i have decided that i would like to pass the torch to someone else, if anyone is willing to 'adopt' the brat, and give him some lovins. please contact me if you're interested. i might ask a few questions, but that's only to make sure you take care of Rulindil and not just delete him after a few weeks.))

He tilted his head to one side, blinking owlishly. "Doing what, exactly?" He asked.

"Oh, how generous." The Third Emissary mutters, his slightly flushed ears twitching as he eyes her somewhat warily.

He sputters and stammers for a few seconds, dark eyes going wide, before he manages to remaster his voice. "And have you tie me to a bed again? I think not."

"I don't suppose I have much of a choice, now do I?" But despite his grumbling, he eased himself up on the tips of his toes and gently laid a kiss on her cheek. "Your antics are rather missed. From time to time."

Anais spent the morning wandering, her travel gear donned and her weapons in easy reach. She’d been bound and determined to actually reach Riften by nightfall this time, because she was going to speak to Brynjolf about something one of his let slip about her being an informant. There would be Oblivion to pay if she had to deal with one more guard approaching her like she’d leak secrets.

It was lunchtime before she finally stopped to check her bearings and munch on some food, which was when she met the stranger. A curious tilt of her head as she studied them, from her seat on the tree branch that stood next to the road.

Rulindil sighed as he used one of his daggers to cut up an apple for Thanthalas, offering a slice to the dappled stallion, and ignoring the drool the horse got upon his gloves. He looked over at the female who studied him, silently quirking an auburn eyebrow with a thoughtful frown.

"Hello."

Rulindil Encountered a Knight-Paladin

His breaths rattled in his lungs like pebbles in a tin cup, and he could taste blood upon his tongue with each shaky exhale. Wine-red claret oozed and dripped from wounds that stung with the pain and the cold of the surrounding air, and as the Third Emissary stumbled along on clumsy feet, he attempted in vain to summon a Fast Healing Restoration spell to help aid in the recovery of his wounds. 

However, Rulindil’s magicka was all but depleted, leaving the Thalmor Official almost as weak as a newborn kitten, looking seconds away from keeling over where he stood in exhaustion. The dark paths he took through the cave were made even darker by the blackness that clouded in on the edges of his vision, making the Third Emissary squint and strain his eyes to peer through the gloom. 

A glimmer of light brought forth a burst of hope which welled in his chest, and his awkward, clumsy steps picked up until Rulindil stumbled into a vast cavern, its floor covered with ankle-deep water and the walls resplendent with glowing, phosphorescent fungi that gleamed and glimmered with an ethereal light of their own. 

Exhausted, wounded, and weakened, the Third Emissary sloshed through the shallow pools of water that reflected the illuminated mushrooms that surrounded him, drawn to the golden-white beams of sunlight that filtered down from overhead, shining down upon the elegant white architecture of an ivory tower, half submerged and collapsed in its ruinous state. 

Rulindil only made it a few more steps before his weariness all but overcame him, resulting in the Thalmor operative falling to his knees in the water. His chin tucked against his chest, eyes shutting as exhaustion weighed heavily upon his shoulders. Alone in the dark, the Altmer huddled in the shimmering water, blood from his wounds slowly mingling with the water around him.

"What in Oblivion do you want?" Rulindil growled, folding his arms across his chest and scowling. "Speak quickly!"

Someone Encountered an Emissary

The Third Emissary cursed and sighed silently to himself as he sat upon his horse outside of Whiterun, awaiting the return of one of his troops from where he had sent them off for some meager supplies to last them the return journey to Solitude. 

He fiddled with the reins, gazing down at the reins of his horse, before raising his eyes to survey the surrounding area with a sweep of his obsidian orbs. Was it always so boring and dull here? Rulindil heaved a deep sigh, reaching up with one hand to mess with the lining of his hood. 

"Pitiful."

Uilossen Encountered an Emissary

The Third Emissary cursed and sighed silently to himself as he sat upon his horse outside of Whiterun, awaiting the return of one of his troops from where he had sent them off for some meager supplies to last them the return journey to Solitude.

Vex Encountered an Emissary

The world swayed and spun with every painful step, the Third Emissary's head lollling on his neck as he stumbled through the darkened autumnal woods of Riften, blood trailing after him with every weakened step that he took. It oozed from a large wound in his side, where a bandit's lucky strike had landed near his ribs.

The single guard on duty near the rear door of the wretched city had fallen asleep sitting on a crate. Rulindil cast a muffle spell, leaning heavily against the wall until the magic successfully cloaked his footsteps, and he tiptoed past the guard and through the door with a grunt of pain as he shoved the door open.

The Thalmor looked about the shrouded city for some form of refuge, hiden under the archway made by the wall and gate underneath, before he began his hesitant journey across the upper level of the city. He could hear the dirty water of the canal sloshing against the decks below, as headed down towards the lower levels. He could hide more easily down there, amongst the crates and barrels on the low docks. The door at the end of the docks looked promising, and he barely recalled that the Ratway led to the sewers under the city; there he would be safe, until he could heal himself with what little remained of his magic.

However, it did not take long for the dazed and disoriented Emissary to become quite efficiently lost in the winding corridors. His boots squelched in the filth caking the squalid walkways, and the wet debris soon began to cake the lower portion of his robes. Perhaps it was simply bad luck that Rulindil found himself in the Cistern, still holding a gloved hand to his injury and looking quite out of place and extremely confused.

Vashta Encountered an Emissary

Rulindil gazed at the dirty-looking, poorly womer with a curious look in his eyes, even if it was hidden beneath his usual expression of scorn and nonchalance. His mouth was pressed into a firm, hardened line as he studied the girl, taking note of her ragged robes and scarred appearance; it was saddening to see a member of his kin fall so far from grace.

He would not wish such a fate on even the poorest of farmers back on the Isles, and in a rare show of pity, he approached to speak to her.

She giggles after his kiss. “Ah you are so very small!” She squeezes his rear, playfully.

"I am not small." Rulindil sighed, puffing his chest out slightly as she laughed, but he could admit there could be humor found in the fact that he was easily a foot shorter then the womer who towered over him. A squeak erupted from the Thalmor as his rear was touched, shoulders jumping as he was startled.

Rulindil Encountered a Goddess

He could not hope but stare, obsidian optics wide at the very presence that he observed before him. Rulindil's mouth worked for a second or two, as he struggled and stammered for words, before he managed to swallow, a task almost made impossible by the massive lump in his throat, and spoke.
