On a happier side note...

Isn’t technology crazy like I just facetimed my entire class and my professor on the other side of the world and I could hear and see everything perfectly like what!?!? I am also 15 hours ahead so like it’s Friday here but Thursday in LA!?! crazy times

My reasons to cry rn...

In a matter of 2 days

- my senior and final season of water-polo with LMU got cancelled

- I never got to play in front of a home crowd this season, I will never get a senior day and I will never play a conference game again

- my last semester of senior year is now ALL online so I can’t see my friends, professors or classmates anymore

- I had to say goodbye to my friends and US family within 24 hours before everyone left on-campus housing

- I had to bag my entire life into 3 suitcases before going back home to Aus

- I don’t know when/if I will be back to the US 

- I am in self-isolation for 14 days and can’t have any human interaction for that entire time

- Now I can’t see my friends at home because the entire world is in lockdown 

so yeah COVID-19 I really really dislike you

HELP I NEED AN INTERNSHIP

So, in a country that places so much emphasis on work experience and internships, why is it so hard to find one?! I find myself being turned down by multiple businesses because I ‘lack experience’ but how am I meant to gain any when every position I find requires it?! A never ending cycle of self confidence knock downs if you ask me. It’s all about who you know not what you know!
