The relatively newish HBO documentary on Gloria Vanderbilt, made by her son Anderson Cooper, Nothing Left Unsaid, is AMAZING.

It starts off sort of slow and corny, but then gets quite deep and juicy.

Gloria was the OG poor lil rich girl, but she is also a deep thinker and a poet. Someone who has truly packed several lifetimes into one, who has embraced life fully and consequently experienced amazing love and terrible pain. Love her! Watch it!

Here she is looking totally perfect with Dali, most probably late 40s/early 50s.

I saw Chantal Akerman’s masterpiece Jeanne Dielman, 23 quai du Commerce 1080 Bruxelles at SFF last month. It was one of the best film experiences of my life. It’s almost 4 hours long and completely engrossing. I feel so lucky to have seen it on the big screen and have thought about it often ever since.

You will never look at housework the same way again...
