Yeah. This blog isn’t going to last. Nor will the character. sorry, everyone. Ill probably delete the blog in a few days unless I forget. it was kind of fun while it lasted.
His left brow raised when she repeated his word with rather a surprised look, perhaps, this was the first that she was called a witch, she doesn’t seem to be rather hostile towards Tatsuya, regardless, she still appose as a threat to him whether or not she is a witch. ”Similar to a spirit, huh?” he repeated, then nodding at the girl. “The witches is rather different from what you say..”
His reactions were a joy to see. But it also made her curious as to the witches he referred to.
“I’m not entirely sure about it myself.” She let out an exasperated sigh. “It doesn’t matter, atleast to me. But I can assure you, I am not a witch.” In her head, Wakahisa couldn’t help but to laugh at being called that.
“Well, from the way you’re talking about ‘witches’ is odd, and the ones I know would laugh me out if I said them someone called me one. Fools, they are. But quite skilled, I must say.” She mused to herself, adding a laugh or two in there.
So they can tell her about themselves. That gave Yukari a little ease of this one’s intent. Knowledge of her having a hand in the border’s upkeep wasn’t hard to come by so she supposed there was no reason to be too vague about it.
“A pleasure to make your acquaintance as well, Wakahisa. Then, to clear up that rumour you heard, I am indeed a manager of sorts for the border. I ensure holes in it are quickly closed so as to not let humans and random creatures enter. Speaking of which, how did ‘you’ find your way into Gensokyo?”
Wakahisa didn’t reply at first. She had to be cautious with her words now. Even if she was a great youkai, Yukari didn’t need to know everything. Too much knowledge could be deadly.
“Hmm, lets see. How was it...” She pondered on it for a bit ironically. “Well, I was just wandering around, when suddenly, a gap appeared in front of me, I walked into it and here I was! Just kidding.” She chuckled. “This place isn’t too hard to spot, so I got curious.”
whoa! replies. huuh, guess Im keeping this one for a little bit. but again, Im a bit busy, so dont expect much activity
The centaur couldn’t really answer what was said to him, though it did kind of give Midori a reason to growl at the mysterious person, even if her claws her digging into him.
“M-mido, stop…if you want food, I have some with me in this basket…”
“Oh my, what an aggressive little cat.” She stared at Midori with a sly grin. “Hiss at me all you want, you’ll just end up harming you, ah, master, I suppose.” She laughed tauntingly and turned her back on them.
“Now, if you have nothing better to say, I’d rather take my leave.”
i really like your writing and stuff!
OH OH!!!! thank you! it makes me feel flattered.
“There are lots of rumours about me, I find. Some hold more truth than others.” Still being indirect. The fact this person didn’t give her a straight answer vexed her. It often meant they had something to hide, after all it’s what she would do herself.
“I could, of course, clear up some of those rumours but I believe it’s proper to at least introduce oneself when asking questions. You’ve clearly heard of me but I have not heard of you, so how about you give me your name at the very least before we continue?”
“I suppose rumors are just rumors in the end.” Wakahisa shrugged. But from what Yukari had said, atleast she heard the right ‘rumors’. Wakahisa didn’t have much to hide, but some things she knew weren’t for the public eye.
“Ah, I suppose I’ve been rather rude, haven’t I?” She bowed slightly as a way of apologizing. “My name is Wakahisa, its a pleasure, miss Yakumo.”
“..Ah, I see..” That makes a lot of sense considering that there are some humans who are able to read ones aura, as a medium Tatsuya is still practicing such ability.
“..I’d be stupid not to realize that you’re not human, especially the way you approach me..” Glances towards the other as he then uses his telekinetic ability to pull a water bottle in his hand, before questioning the creature. “What are you? A Witch?”
“Witch?” She seemed rather surprised. She didn’t expect to be called a witch, but they probably did things differently here.
“Ahaha, I’d never be a witch. Atleast my understanding of a witch.” She stared at the water bottle which floated to his hand so gently, and narrowed her eyes. “Most of the witches I’ve seen are tricksters, well, I guess that isn’t TOO far off myself, but I digress.” Wakahisa let out a sigh. “I guess Im similar to a spirit, if you really want to know.”
its been over a week. well, I haven’t been feeling like rping at all, and considering putting all my blogs on hiatus, maybe deleting some since I dont have the heart to delete some. its just that I think I might become more invested in a personal project soon, and stuff, but eh. Ill think about it
“Do I? I suppose that’s what some people say of me.” Instantly going for the indirect approach but polite with her tone. That someone would judge her as powerful yet still approach was intriguing, the fact they were covered from head to toe only making it more so.
“But who’s asking?”
“Who indeed...” She mused to herself. “Just someone curious, I do hope you don’t mind.”
Maybe her ‘courage’ to face Yukari came from the fact that she didn’t care, and wasn’t afraid of her. “Rumors say you’re one of the managers of the great border that “protects” this place.”
Midori the cat starts growling at Wakahisa, she could detect her scent as being unfriendly, she even had her claws out….and digging into Henry’s horse back.
“Owowowow! Midori! Stop! What’s wrong with you?!”
He turns to where she was facing, seeing Wakahisa.
“Uhm….when did you get there?”
A silence follows. After a few moments, Wakahisa lets out a small chuckle. “I always have been here~” She said darkly, as if she was acting. “Just kidding, but creeping up on people is just what I do.“ She sighed and crossed her arms.
“You’re no good, though. Humans are the best.”
“..Well, you can’t expect me to not give you such look after the way you approach me..” Averting his eyes away from the creature, he can already tell that this girl isn’t one of those creatures that he have encountered. “I am rather curious though, how do you know that I’m not some ordinary human?”
She didn’t comment on that last line and closed her eyes. “......I suppose the--aura around you is different than other humans.” She flailed her body around slightly.
“...Surely, you have realized that I am not human, yes?” Wakahisa glared at him tightly. “Or well, not normal, at least.” A more smug-looking expression appeared on her face, she seemed to oddly enjoy this conversation to an extent.
I should try to fix my icon today since I started hating it again
Ill be away for the next week or so, just so you all know. Ill be here tonight though, not for long probably.
Well, it’s almost dark as Henry is carrying a lantern with him to help guide him home, and on his horse back, Midori in cat form.
Then, the two of them hear bells in their ears, it annoyed Midori the most being a cat and all that, Henry covers his ears, holding the hot light of the lantern close to his head as a result, and having Midori claw into his horse back while she growls loudly.
“What is that noise? It’s not you, is it Mido?”
Of course he can’t hear her, but he can feel her, those claws friend, though the cat doesn’t seem happy as she can pick up a faint scent of someone near by.
Wakahisa didn’t move. She had to think what to do next, she wasn’t feeling particulary hungry, plus this WAS a non-human... Oh well. She let out a sigh, and withdrew, becoming visible to the eye again.
“How hopeless...” She mumbled to herself and turned away. “.........what? I didn’t do anything~ Just a--traveler, haha.”
Rather suspicious to hear someone say something like that towards him, especially, when using the word ‘human’, Tatsuya is rather cautious towards this creature, assuming that she isn’t human that is. “I guess you can say that I’m full of surprises..”
“I suppose. Some humans really are weird.” She narrowed her eyes and gave him a close look. Wakahisa could tell from his look that she was being suspected. “Now, now, don’t give me that kind of look.” She waved her hand slightly. “Am I really that odd to you?”

A disappointment, this one was. Not a human, not good enough for a meal. She sighed internally. There was nothing to do about it, was there. Well, maybe she could get some entertainment, not everyday do you see someone walk an almost dark road. A few more steps...
Ring! The sound of a small bell rang in both of their ears, and she let out a quiet, small chuckle.
