I had seen the first picture of the church, but not the second.

I went to a “Cancel Canada Day” event and burst into tears - not because I was surprised to learn of the unmarked graves (survivors told us they were there. Our government pushed it aside, and we let them), but because seeing all the people gathered in mourning drove it home: They. Were. Children.

This is my country’s legacy - and it’s not history. The last schools closed during my lifetime. My Father went to school with students who lived at the local residential school, after it was changed to a boarding house (read: holding centre) for indigenous youth who went to local schools.

They were all children, injured, abused, and killed in my country’s attempt to erase them. I want the world to see this and hold the state accountable to *active* reconciliation> I mean we could at least truly adopt UNDRIP in action instead of words for god’s sake.

I think this is pretty accurate. I’m not that different from my online persona but I’m more quiet irl - not to be mistaken as shy tho. An Overdue Thank You!

(Lets set the scene a little. DD sits at her desk with a sheet of paper as she tries to hold back her tears and smiles at what she's about to do. She settles herself on her chair, takes a deep breath, and begins.)

I would like to start this off with saying thank you to everyone who has supported me since the start and those who came after. Many of you don't know this but i started off writing on here as a form of helping my anxiety, nothing more. My first ever piece of writing was an idea of a fanfic i thought was interesting that gained my blog attention that i was never expecting to receive. I didn't think anyone would see it or would care about it so i moved on. I received messages and comments about making a second part and that was the start of my first series, Incel! Shinsou. Since then, ive gained more followers that i never knew what to do with. I wasn't here with the intention of growing because i didn't feel like it would go anywhere or that it would last for long. My content has becomed more polished since then and with an upgrade (hopefully an upgrade), my follower count shot up to the point i just had to celebrate. I reached a huge number, 430 followers, and couldn't help myself from getting emotional over it. You've all shown interest in my work which i wasn't expecting to gain and was exited to see what else i could give back as a thank you.

A few days back i reached a milestone again, 1k followers. I can't express how thankful i am for everything you've all done for me and the escape this community has granted me. Yes, i do take forever to post at times yet you all are patient and accept the offering i hand to you when i stop overthinking the story. For however much i may want to come off as this sadistic, kind of masochistic, angst filled, mommy domme, i'm still extremely emotional. The stupid grin i have on my face as i write this out hasn't disappeared since ive started. Thank you for all of your kind comments and thank you to the amazing anons who come into my inbox to thirst with me. And an even special thank you to the hate anons who think they will manage to break me. They have not only failed to realize i won't take them seriously but also don't understand that this blog is for those who want to have fun and for myself.

Aside from them, thank you to those who come into my dm's to send sweet messages about my work and who have shared their own projects with me. Special thank you to @fatgumsupremacy , @vannyvancan , and mi comadre querida @blossominglark.
