He would be quiet at first, until he learns what methods you prefer for cheering up
He’s open to anything, really he wants to do whatever it takes to make you feel better
Your body language would be what initially clues him in, since he knows you so well
“Are you alright?” He’d ask, gently
“Do you want to talk about it?” He’d ask
If you want to talk about it, he’s happy to sit beside you, rub your shoulders, and listen to you vent
If it’s too much to talk about, he’ll gladly hold you tight and let you feel your feelings
And if you just need some alone time, he’ll give it to you, but he’ll be making preparations
As soon as you exit your solitude, you’ll find him with one of your favorite snacks, a drink, and a soft blanket
Don’t be afraid to ask him for support if it’s a reoccurring issue
For example, if you’re having trouble at work, he’d be happy to lend a hand
He will likely try to suggest solutions, unless you just need to vent
No matter what, he’s always on your side
If someone was mean to you, he’ll curse their soul
If a project is frustrating you, he’ll try to help and if it’s something he doesn’t understand, he’ll try to learn it
He is one constant you can always rely on even during tough times
