It took ??? months but I finally have his ethnicity finalized....

originally he was Korean-- which is. pretty evident by his name and the person who inspired his design (fun fact: it’s jeonghan!) but for a while he was just...ambiguously asian (which stemmed from an inside joke ww)

but after developing his character more, i’ve settled with korean+chinese! chinese on his mom’s side, korean on his dad’s side. i dont have many mixed characters-- the only one i can think of off the top of my head is Chiara. but i want to have a more diverse cast!
