Is there anyone reading or read the chronicles of elantra

MEEEE!!! It’s my crafting listen. (I haven’t heard the last one or the newest Acadamia books), but I’m ecstatic to nerd out to them.

What would you like to nerd out about??

Omg all of it??? I've rarely come across anyone that knows about it 😭

So the only two I haven’t caught up on are the most recent Chronicle (cast in Atonement) and the most recent Academy (Heir of Light) spin off, since they have come out since I started my most recent re-listen.

But with the exception of those two (so far!), yes! This is one of my favorite series to craft to.

I love Kaylin. I love Severn. I love the Arkon and Marcus and the Cohort.

Omg and I rarely if ever check Tumblr these days. I didn't even know there was a spin off???? I'm definitely going to go read those. I've been re reading stuff so this is really exciting

Omg I really need to catch up 😯😯😯. I'm gonna get them todayyyyy. Which series should I start with first?

So the Wolves books are from Severn’s point of view, and happen PRE- Hawks.

So those you can read at any time.

The Academy books happen after… Cast in Wisdom? So if you are wanting to keep track of things, that’s where they are. I’m debating if I should just listen to them in publication order at that point.

I feel like the Academia books are in some nebulous time post whatever the most recent Kaylin book proper is for a spoilery reason, but yay! People to discuss Elantra with!!

So wait, I know the first Academia book is set after Cast in Wisdom, due to the Academia being woken.

But you are saying that Heir of Light (Academia 2) should come AFTER Cast in Atonement, not before?

Because publishing order puts it as before, but if it happens chronologically after…..

Also, indeed, hell yes, more peoples to discuss this amazing book series with!

Heir of Light could come between Cast in Eternity and Cast in Atonement now that I’m more awake lol, but definitely no earlier than that because of a certain character’s appearance. Actually, probably definitely between them based on how Cast in Atonement ends

So I'm just realizing that there are more books??? I did not know about Cast in Atonement. I'm trying to finish up the series I'm reading rn (thankfully I'm on the last book). I desperately need to catch up. No spoilers 😭😭😭

Finally finished Cast in Atonement.... And I'd had a gripe with Kaylin being a bit dumb and unwilling to use her magic or to learn magic but this book she was more willing to do so and I'm thankful 😂
