New Song May 1st!

First off, lets start by saying thank you all so much for your support of the first song! Now it is time to get things rolling. We have been diligently working on a second song to release for you guys May 1st. We wanted to give an example of how the process is going to work for This Adventure so we decided to do that with our second song. Here’s what we did: the three of us came up with some themes on our own and then combined what we had. Some of the themes we had were rain, flight, and Spring just to name a few. We decided to go with Spring as an overall theme for the song (thought it was appropriate for the time of year) but narrowed it down to a more specific “feeling” or “experience” we connect with the Spring season. We can’t wait to share the song with all of you and we will give you updates as the song nears completion!

Now it is your turn! We will now be taking submissions for our third song that will be released June 1st. We will spend two weeks (starting today) collecting ideas from all of you and having you vote on the ideas to narrow it down. You can vote via Facebook or Twitter. For Facebook submissions simply post your ideas on our wall (as some of you have already, thanks!!) or if you want to keep your idea more private send it to us in a message and we will post the idea to the wall to get votes. If you would like to vote via Twitter just tweet @_ThisAdventure_  your idea and use #ThisAdventureJune at the end of the tweet OR you can send us a private message on Twitter as well. 

We can’t wait to start hearing your ideas, the ones we’ve received already are great! Remember this project only works with your participation, the more the better! Thank you guys!

We are happy to announce that our first song is in its final stage of being mixed and mastered! We will be posting the song right here this Friday the 15th. Be sure to give it a listen and tell us what you think. We can't wait for all of you to hear it!

The Beginning

Music is often described as an art of self expression.

It can capture and describe many emotions and situations that one is feeling. Yet music is not only for self-expression, but is also an incredible bridge that connects the audience with their own ideas, feelings, and expression. It is time music involves you, from concept to completion.This is the focus for This Adventure. 

We want to create a platform for interactive creativity. 

We want to write music in style and theme that you determine.

We want to create one song a month tailored just for you.

To do this, we will accept idea submissions from you throughout the month and write a song based on the most popular submission as per your vote. The song will be released at the end of the following month. By doing this we hope to write music that will truly inspire, captivate and ultimately connect with our listeners. 

The core team of This Adventure is comprised of three professional musicians; each will take a particular part in the writing and recording process. With great anticipation of your vast ideas, we have enlisted the help of our friends and fellow musicians from all around the world to participate on your songs. We want this to be a meaningful, creative and fun collaboration and we need your help to make this happen!
