I heard from that Ian (from Lost prophets) was unfortunatly sexually assaulted by his stepfather(s) is that true?

there are definitely rumors that he was sexually abused and it would make much more sense if he was considering the scope of his crimes and the way he viewed himself in his later years before he was arrested. it has not been confirmed by him, but one of his exes said that his stepfather was sexually abusive to him when he was a child.
paraphilic disorders, especially pedophilia, are very often caused by child sexual abuse or trauma and a fairly common result of it, actually. it's rare for someone to just be a pedophile out of nowhere. ian degraded himself harshly and most likely saw himself as an object or someone who's only good for sex, despite the amount of fame and success he had at the time. he'd likely hated himself and used drugs as a coping mechanism, and drugs always make paraphilias worse, always.
we'll most likely never get confirmation of this unless his mother randomly decides to come out and clear the air for us few remaining ian fans, but i'm willing to bet he was sexually abused, if not by his step father, then someone else of authority during his childhood.
