starving since last night (hunger: 8.7/10)

my last meal had been a small dinner the night before, so my stomach was howling when lunchtime came around and nothing filled it

until about an hour and a half past my usual lunchtime i filled my stomach because it was starting to hurt from being so empty

i had a very small lunch today, so i was starved by 7:30pm which is the time i was at a drive through with my stomach already twisting with hunger

i was hoping it wouldn’t growl, at least not loudly, in front of the worker. but when they handed me my food, as i stretched just a little bit to grab the bag, my stomach lets out a TREMENDOUSLY starved growl like i hadn’t fed it in days

my hands had just grabbed the bag when my stomach howled, and i unfortunately made EYE CONTACT with the worker for a brief second before gathering all my courage to mutter thanks and rush out of there

i didn’t take a single french fry out of the bag before getting home, just to spite my empty gut for embarrassing me. it literally cried out as the smell of food filled the car and i refused to take a bite

it’s just a little past lunchtime and my stomach is complaining at me for making it wait. it’s growling as i type this

my roomie told me she’d arrive late, so i said i’d wait to eat lunch with her if she brought food from a place i like

now the anticipation is making my empty belly suffer

today i had a class until 12:30pm, and i was already hungry by the time it ended since i hadn’t eaten any snacks the whole morning. however, we had a talk since classes started recently- and it lasted 50 literal minutes

i got so hungry during the second half, my stomach was twisting and growling so badly. i’m almost certain the people around me heard how my stomach was crying out for food

and even when i couldn’t hear it growling i could feel how it vibrated nearly non-stop. my poor empty stomach had only had a bowl of cereal about 6 hours ago

i could no longer focus on the presentation, just on how hungry my stomach was

this was less than an hour before lunch and my stomach was panging for some food. unfortunately it was aching with hunger more than it was growling

and it won’t have dinner since it keeps disturbing my focus

clearly it’s twisting for some food but it’ll have to wait until breakfast

at almost 4:30pm my stomach is literally crying out for anything to fill it. the last thing inside it was one single cookie at 8am
