Yes we all have valid reasons for only writing with mutuals. Yes we have the right to do that!

But when I hear about a new rp’er getting “You don’t deserve to be on Tumblr you amateur” in their inbox? That breaks my heart. 

We all started somewhere. We all used to be that person who didn’t know how to cut or format posts. Who couldn’t write in clear English or struggled with switching between prose and dialogue. And even if you’ve moved on from that stage, nobody is perfect.

Be selective. Be private. By all means ignore the non-mutuals who bother your inbox. But for the sake of a growing and safe roleplay community Do Not Send Hate.
