You know what I think is funny? That the STF fandom accepts different species ships, but age gap ships are frowned upon.

Crackle and Clover for example. How old do you think Crackle is? I was under the impression that she's a baby dragon, maybe about Sofia's age in dragon years. And Clover is, of course, an adult rabbit. Yet people who don't like Cedfia ship them. You can say, "But they're just animals," which is a lame excuse.

Then we have Morris and Charlotte from the "Beauty is the Beast" episode; a goblin and a human. Now, this is a cute ship, and I DO like the idea of them becoming a couple. But the fact remains that he is a goblin.

So if you like these ships, then you really shouldn't have an issue with age gap ships.

I think it has to do with dark shipping. It's so frowned upon in some fandoms the doxing is horrible and the harassment. I remember when I was kicked out of many fandoms for different ships. They weren't even problematic as people call certain ships.

Honestly, people who ship Cedfia shouldn't be considered real fans of the show. A REAL fan would appreciate their relationship as FRIENDS. I've told this to someone before, but, sometimes we have to gatekeep to keep the crazies away. Problematic shipping

I think it’s sad that the Sofia fandom has so many problematic ships,

Examples being:

Cedfia:

For starters it’s problematic because cedfia is between an adult and a child

Roland and Cedric:

This one is even less problematic than Cedwick because at least these two or three years apart, however Roland is married also there’s a bit of a power dynamic issue because Roland is Cedric’s boss

Cedwick:

Even though personally this ship is less problematic it’s still an issue because Balieywick is older than Cedric and Roland combined

Cedric and Grimtrix:

This last one in imo is debatable? 🤷🏼‍♀️

Guys why are there so many angry c*dfia shippers with new, empty blogs? They don't have even images, and if they do have a post, is an only c*dfia thing and that's it. They show up randomly in my tumblr and interact negatively with me. First it was that person who harassed me for a loooong time arguing about Cedric's age (c*dfia shipper with empty blog). Then months later I made a silly headcanon compilation of Cedric being bisexual and this other person sent me a hate comment and when I entered their blog they had just a c*dfia poem, besides a screenshot they took of my Cedric's bisexuality headcanons with their homophobe commentary (they didn't wanted to reblog my post, so they screenshotted and posted it behind my back) (another c*dfia shipper with an empty blog). Then today I made a comment and another c*dfia shipper with just an only poem posted in their profile (no images, no pfp, nothing) was arguing with me again. Bro! Wth is happening? This is so weird. Why angry people, why empty blogs, and why just a single post in each one (the posts being abt c*dfia and two of them had poems)? I'm confused. Is there an epidemic going on that I haven't heard about?

Edit: this happened again in this same post, another empty profile. They didn't even had a title! It's so weird.

i see now what you meant about the cedfia shippers. i was looking through the cedric tag and saw some absolutely beautiful artwork of a specific AU, and the outfit designs were so pretty but I thought it was odd that it was just cedric and sofia (and she was aged up) and then i checked the tags and..."cedfia". ah. -___-

It's exactly like that. It's so upsetting when you find a great artist and then it's inappropriate shipp art. I found one here on tumblr, the artstyle was amazing, it was pink with kawaii stuff and sparkles!! But then it was prosh*p... well, I made a post saying "guys I hate when I see a cute art and it's cedfia, today I saw a pink one that was so beautiful blablabla...." not directly involving the person and my friends related to the post. But the shoe fit with the artist and they got so mad 😭 They cursed me in russian bc it is their main language, thinking I wouldn't understand, so I replied with "desculpa eu não converso com pedófilos". It was funny. And upsetting at the same time. I blocked this person because I don't want to interact with that kind of thing. But found out that they have a tiktok profile and have even more followers there. It's upsetting how many people normalize pedo stuff. By the way sorry for the long funny/upsetting yapping, I just remembered that.

Is the Cedric/Sofia The First fandom getting smaller everyday or am I just being shadowbanned? I got so many interactions before, now I don't get much. Often just some likes. But I find it weird that sometimes people post their Cedric fanarts and they blow up with 200+ interactions. Where did those 200 Cedric fans came from? Our tag is collecting spider webs

Is it because I'm not adding the other tags "cedric the great" "cedric the sensational"? That's why is not arriving to many people? I don't get it. Maybe the fandom just got smaller :/

@sweetmariihs2, it's just the Sofia the first fandom, and yes, sadly, my friend, it is getting smaller. I've said this before. I'm facing the same problem. I used to get a lot of likes interactions, and now I'm pretty much completely ignored in the fandom. it's become extremely lonely.

No, we're adding the correct tags. No one likes OCs in the fandom. As I've said before. We're just being looked over.
