Fruit and veg update for the garden… blueberries have been awesome - broad beans nearly done but runners in progress. Apples are causing serious bowing!

Stacking logs from the old tree we had cut down. Seeing strawberries appear- small and white but will get there. More potatoes showing. Nipped tops of some broad beans cus; blackfly.

Veg doing ok, potatoes starting to show, beans getting big! Peas coming up nicely too.

Don’t know what the caper berry like fruit is growing...

Apple trees will be good this year!

Garden update for May as things growing - except the raspberry sticks...

French beans, sunflowers, the only tomato that made it.

More gardening as weather was bloody good. Was Olwen’s 6 month birthday too so gave her a few strawberries to try out. Training the clematis, watering, enjoying the blossoms and trees flowering.

More garden stuff done. Lawn mowed and popped the clipping, shredded newspapers and blood/bone/fish into a new trench which we’ll use later for runner beans. Cut down the rest of the willow which will get its roots killed in a bit. Tomatoes doing ok indoors.

Pepper plants don’t look happy though - prob all dead. Also I dug over a bit of bed we had parsnips planted in as... I forgot they were there. Nevermind!

Been gardening today. Mum and Dad brought up loads of awesome plants to pop in so got some in the borders or repotted. Made a frame for the clematis to crawl up. Cut down the willow and a dead tree. A bit of willow landed the wrong side of the fence so will drop a note to next door to tell em to throw it back over.

Best job was planting the snowdrops for Olwen around the tree.
