Prior to Umbrella Academy, he played the character Nathan in misfits. Guess what is powers are? Immortality and seeing ghosts

Yeah. So people asked him how it was to play such similar characters

And he says that he took time to search for the differences.

His conclusion:

Nathan is emotionally bulletproof and addicted to conflict

Klaus is really emotionally fragile and completely averse to conflict. Ironically, that aversion to conflict and familial dysfunction creates conflict, since it somehow defines his life

We love actors who care about the characters they play

Thank you guys for answering ❤️ I went for rewatches, though I prolly should have voted for actors, cuz I stan the people playing the roles. Plus certain specific tumblrs/ao3s/artists. Eventually the OCD loosens its grip lol, but the flame never dies.

My fixation with TUA has always been an extension of my fixation with Robert Sheehan, which was really, if I’m being entirely honest, a symptom of my disintegrating mental health during COVID. My obsession has somewhat faded, but I still love the show, I still love Klaus, I still love Dave and I’ll always be a fan. Shame the show got cancelled after three seasons though. 😢

I’m still working on my fics too - it’s just that after four rounds of IVF, a miscarriage, a very difficult pregnancy and now having a six-month-old baby to look after that the last two years have been crazy busy, so progress is slow. I am hoping to publish another chapter of Chained very soon though as I’ve been chipping away at it in between breastfeeding sessions.
