For real though, a Tyvek-6mm foam-Tyvek sandwich makes an incredibly tactile quilting material. It’s not slippery like you might think, feels fresh, but not cold and you can easily wipe off the inevitable ramen soup droplets with a wet cloth.
Seagull model I made up for my friend with a seagull fetish.
Soo much to catch up on posting here, but for now, have some newly colour swatched paints. I can finally see what colour I’ve got mitts on without having to memorise 200+ names.
The excellent face is a file from MGMoogi on MyMiniFactory that I edited to become two variants of swatch topper (concave/citadel and dropper bottle).
I just plopped a dollop on the top of my opaque paints. Not as flashy, but it does the job.
Next up is sorting them into legible colour groups…
Beginnings of a #chess28 board. 30x30cm tile allowing it to be inserted into any of my other gaming boards as generic terrain or a minigame-showdown!
Styrofoam (XPS) 25mm cubes, chemiwood (PU modelling board) bricks. The holes in the centre of the blocks are for adding steel tacks so each block can be magnetised.
Laser etched paving slabs and loads of filler coming next.
Do with this what you will.
Book cover for my Grandad’s book. Available here.
Super old poster.

After ‘86
B: Where are all the animals? A: Dead. B: Huh..? A: Everyone went vegan after ‘86 and nobody could justify spending all that money on keeping them alive so they got systematically culled. B: What, all of them? A: Pretty much. People did feed their pets for as long as they could on preserved meat overstock, but when that food ran out, almost all of them fell to taurine-deficiency related illnesses and the rest of them suffered from reproductive failure. Attempts were made to artificially engineer vegan dogs, but all experiments were wholly unsuccessful and the project was abandoned. B: ... did anything survive? A: Oh, sure! I mean, mainly rodents and insects, but there are still the pachyderms, equids, wild bovids and a fair few species of primate that had vegan diets before. I think maybe some species of whale as well, but nobody’s been in the sea for generations, so that’s just a guess. B: Huh, damn.
