I'm excited for TIR to come back!!

I am as well! Closing it prior was very hard for me, but had every intention to eventually bring it back. However, there will be plenty of changes and a set back in time in the city instead of going back to where it was originally. More information will be announced in upcoming weeks.

Thanks for the import! I’ve been doing some further thinking and I am probably going to push the rp back in time when everything was so brutal and the Revelations were killing each other and not joining as *temporary* allies if you remember those days.

Any updates on when TIR will reopen?

I am aiming for sometime this winter, for sure! All I will need will be new co-admins and create a whole new plot. Definitely something “next generation” or a time few decades, or even a century past the current timeline now. And if that’s the case, Italy will be completely different—probably a whole new leadership or dictatorship will be present instead of the Revelations and Cessations. Just an idea.

REVAMP UPDATE

As we’re close to complete the plot, we’re also going to change some graphics. Nothing major, just new posting graphics as everything else is pretty new. In addition, Roma will no longer be a bio roleplay--but a skeleton roleplay. All bios will be deleted as the plot goes further in Rome’s history. Brand new characters and leaders. That being said, all existing members will need to fill out an original application that will be released shortly with your character’s adjusted background.

                                                   IT ALL STARTS HERE

Rome, Italy;, a city that worldwide has been known for its hardships. It has been over twenty years since the endless wars between the notorious gangs, the Cessations and Revelations… Ten years since the extinction of those said, gangs. The year is now 2042, and Rome faces a different reign of power. Alfonso Esposito, a proud and well respected military leader turned  President of Italy and soon–dictator was one of the most feared Italian's of Italy’s crime history. As President, his goal is to cleanse the country, to brainwash or even kill worse case scenario those who refuses to change his ways or those he didn’t consider the perfect Italian. For years, Italy has never seen a time when the country was not at war with itself–fear and death was a common thing.

Alfonso wanted peace among the Italians, no more war–no more death. And yet, his motivates didn’t match to what his main goal was: to cleanse the Italian population. Make the country a better place, or perhaps later on with enough follows… Expand the Italian ways worldwide. And that he did.

                                            RISE OF THE EXPURGATION

expurgation def: to cleanse of something morally harmful, offensive, or erroneous

Soldiers were trained, brainwashed almost to Alfonso’s ways. These soldiers were called Expurgates, an army under the commands of Alfonso Esposito. As wanted, his views expanded at other countries–mainly to Spain and France.

Hello, Roma! 

Your friendly neighborhood Admin Team is here with an announcement.

We recognize the dwindling activity in the group and we do understand the majority of the reasonings behind it outside of just the time of year being busy. 

The unfollows we had to post recently were spectacularly painful. 

That being said, your Admins had a lengthy discussion (read: HOURS talking on Skype) and we have come to a decision regarding the future of Roma.

A revamp and reworking are coming. This was far from an easy choice, but we collectively believe Roma needs new life. 

We are still working out the specifics of what that means, but thus far the idea includes all new characters, a shifted plot, and new villains. More information will be communicated as its finalized as well as asking for your input as we go so that its a collaborative thing.

Its going to be AWESOME!

As for what this means for now..

Potential Members:

Acceptances/Applications are currently ON HOLD while we work our butts off to make this happen.

Current Members:

You are welcome to continue to play your characters based on the current plot while we work on this.

We may also allow you to rework them, especially OCs, to fit in the new plot/story. That is uncertain at this time.

You are also welcome to take them Indie if that is what you choose. We ask that if you do plan to take them, though, that you please discuss this with us on the Main FIRST.

However, we understand that it may come as a shock to some and encourage you to speak to us off of Anon as needed so we can discuss concerns and ideas you have. 

As always, we are here to hear you out. Please don’t be afraid to talk to us.
