"Why do I have to put up with you?!" - Pierrot
"I saved your life!" - Harlequin
"Pierrot No!!" - Ticket Taker
"It's too late..." - Doctor
"Looks like we'll have to make a few adjustments." - Jester
Mr. Pierrot is inspired by the Beast from the animated film Beauty and the Beast (1991), Mr. Scarletella & Mr. Crawling.
He possesses a rose tinted with red blood; it is the same rose that he gave Columbina.
His rose has a glass box to store inside his tent.
Based on Mr. Scarletella's umbrella, Pierrot's rose is a possession of his that became a part of him.
Whenever Pierrot leaves his tent to visit the tent of Mirrors, Harlequin would take his rose from the glass casing and leave it somewhere to tease him.
His favorite thing to say is "Why.. Why.. Why.."
Once Pierrot finds out that the human is carrying his rose, he will ask them to give it back; If the human returns the rose to him, then he will let them go. Otherwise, he will see this as stealing his possessions and devour them.
However, if a human returns his rose back to his tent and encases it in the glass box before Pierrot finds them, he'll find that kind action strange to him, as he perceives all humans as cruel. He will start stalking them around the circus to ensure their intentions are pure.
"I'll hold on to whatever is left of you."
Mr. Harlequin is inspired by a Yōkai or Japanese monster - Futakuchi Onna, Mr. Gap & Mr. Chopped.
He crawls because his lower half was ripped off by Mr. Pierrot.
Based on the lore of Homicipher about body mutations, he still lives with only his upper body.
His hair can stretch out into longer strands like tentacles to help him move around. This allows him to reach certain places, such as up the stairs or walls. etc.
His favorite thing to say is "Can you find my legs?"
He will ask the visitor for help to find his legs; if ever they lower their guard, he will attack them.
"She was such a beauty to a beast like you."
Mr. Jester is inspired by Snow White from the animated film Snow White and the seven dwarfs (1991) & Mr. Masque.
He lures visitors about how to leave the circus, which only leads them to where The Mirror is.
If a human doesn't fall for his schemes, his final trick to deceive them is by offering them a laced candy apple.
He is one of the most composed monsters in the circus. He can still speak in full sentences and would use it to his advantage to deceive visitors.
Since everything had gone downhill, he and the others adapted to the changes in the circus, leading to a whole different approach to how to catch "prey".
"Quite famished, aren't you? Here's an apple to take your breath away."
The Mirror is inspired by the Magic Mirror from the animated film Snow White and the seven dwarfs (1991), Cloth Monster & Painting Lady.
He is a type of monster that shapeshifts into a human after taking his victim's form as its new host.
Once a visitor looks at one of the mirrors inside his tent, he will start to create illusions to trick them into thinking they are actually looking at the reflection of a loved one, a certain place, a favorite possession/thing, etc.
He creates illusions in the mirror to urge his victims to come closer, and once they are in proximity, He will swap places with the victim and take the form of them to deceive others.
While a victim is trapped inside the mirror, He can roam around and go to different places, for as long as the victim is alive.
It takes weeks until the victim's body starts to rot in condition, which makes him need to find any mirror he can get into to get back to the circus.
Any mirror inside/outside the circus could act as transportation. It could be a pocket mirror or a bathroom mirror, but only the ones in his tent let him capture victims.
"Jester always finds me the fairest vessel for me to host."
The Crow is inspired by Eileen the Crow from Bloodborne, Mr. Silvair & Mr. Hood.
He is the tallest monster in the circus—his presence instills a sense of impending doom.
He has evolved his hands into needle-sharp talons that are large enough to grab a human. He keeps them hidden underneath his feathered cloak to avoid accidentally scratching the other members.
He is one of the most composed monsters in the circus, aside from Jester and Taker. He imitates a human voice in different vocal ranges to deceive other victims into their demise.
Unlike a regular crow, he hunts for victims outside of the circus during the night.
He only targets adult humans. Whenever he sees a child wandering alone, he leaves only traces of feathers in an area that leads them to safety.
Once he succeeds in hunting, he returns to the circus and shares his "food" with the others.
"No more shall they be deprived of hunger"
