Committed to promoting the sport of street rodding, the Minnesota Street Rod Association celebrated its 46th annual car show on June 19-23, 2019, at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds with the theme "back to the ’50s." Voted as the 2019 Best Car Show by USA Today, the event attracted over 400 vendors and more than 2000 volunteers from the United States and abroad. Some of the car show's highlights included curbside rodding, a vintage airplane flyover, and a showcase of over 11,500 registered classic vehicles. A model car contest was set up for three days, while the commercial vendors and the ladies showcase continued until the closing ceremonies on the fourth day. A viewing of the classic cars was held for a full day before the auction on June 22nd. At night, MSRA offered entertainment on the Bandshell Stage and the Westend Shakedown Stage.
