“Yeah. Like in a car crash or some shit like that!” Presley giggled as he made car crash sounds. “Nah, but seriously. ‘Sides, we’re too old to waste time.”
“Yeah, I pray that never fuckin’ happens, Pres.” Thomas laughed and shook his head. “Yer a damn nerd, y’know that? But yeah, I reckon yer right.. We’ve wasted ‘nough as it is.”

“I potty trained Karloff. How hard can a dog be?” Presley smirked and nodded. “Look, I know. But sometimes ya gotta say what you’re thinking or ya might not get the moment again.”
“Y’got another thang comin’...” Thomas laughed before nodding. “Yeah, I reckon yer right, Pres... I mean, one of us could die tomorrow, maybe even t’day.”

“I got here not too long ago. I’m making a film. So, yes. I am a bit homesick.” Heikki nibbled on her fruit. “Sit. I wanna catch up.”
“A film huh? What kinda film we talkin’ bout? Is it with that Annie kid? If yer stil with ‘im that is.” He joked as he smiled. “Yes ma’am!” He moved to sit across from her.

“Fiiine, y’can have ‘im... As long as y’potty train ‘im and shit.” He sighed. “Don’t y’think it’s a bit too early t’be sayin’ that?” He asked softly. “I love y’too, though.” He bit his lip and smiled wide.

“Hey, I got a bigger house in the country. We can fully move there. As many animals as we want.” He chuckled, holding the dog once more. “So, it’s a yes? Awesome.”
“Yeah, I reckon that’s true.” Thomas chuckled as he moved to kiss his cheek. “Hell yeah it’s a yes, y’nerd.” He laughed and blushed a bit.

“He’s just a small thing. Not gonna get much bigger than this.” Presley stroked the pup’s fur. He handed the pup to Thomas. “Look. He’s wearin’ my old class ring. Wanna go steady?”
“Still! I bet y’my life that yer gonna find another animal and bring it in th’ house.” He snorted as he took the pup. His eyes widened when he saw the ring. “Oh, y’son of a bitch!” He laughed as he moved to gently hug him. “It’s a yes by th’way.”
“I seemed to have gained a new friend.” Presley chuckled as he held the puppy.
“Another one, Pres? Y’already got a cat!” Thomas chuckled. “Well.... He is mighty cute...Though th’apartment’s gonna get pretty damn full if y’keep this up.”

“Oh yes! Tommy, hello! I haven’t seen you in a while! I always look for you when I’m visiting Mama.” She grinned excitedly and nodded. “You can sit down if you want.”
“Yeah, long time no see, right?” Thomas grinned widely. “Yeah, sorry I ain’t been ‘round much, I kinda moved here a while ago.” He chuckled
what made you choose to move to new orleans?
“I remember comin’ down here on vacation with Presley when we were still in college. Forgot ‘bout it ‘til I saw somethin’ a few years later on th’ tv talkin’ about New Orleans and d’cided t’just come on down. I mean, what’d I have t’lose, right?”
Y’all should definitely ask Thomas some stuff and thangs ;)

Heikki looked up as she was noticed by the other. The man seemed familiar, even though she couldn’t place where she had seen him before. “Yes, my name is Heikki. Where have I seen you before? You look and sound very familiar.”
“Wow.. Y’ve grown a lot! Granted I was in my twenties when I last saw ya..” He chuckled a bit as he moved to sit down “I’m Thomas, Presley’s friend. ‘Member me?”

Zane sighed and looked behind him while Killjoy and Ziggy ran to the older man, wagging their tails in excitement. “How did you know? But thanks, I really do need a place to stay. The hotel declined my card.”
“When someone’s got that look yer givin’ me, either one of three thangs happened. Y’lost someone, yer house is gone, or yer starvin’. I’m pretty sure y’ain’t starvin’, I wouldn’t allow that, and I don’t think yer grievin too..” He moved down to gently pet Ziggy and Killjoy. “Hey there pups!”
Being thousands of miles from home, and still getting used to a time difference between herself and the one she loved most was wearing on Heikki’s heart. “Oh, Anakin. Why did I leave?” She whispered to herself as she looked at the Skype app on her phone. It was too early to call, but too late to work, so she sat in the diner, hoping no one would notice her.
Thomas bit his lip, looking over to the girl. He felt like he knew her from somewhere. That was, until she spoke the name Anakin. He knew that name. He moved to get upand moved over to her. “Hey, I’m sorry, y’look familiar. Is uh.. Is yer name Heikki by any chance?” He asked softly with a small smile.
To say Zane was in a bad mood was the understatement of the century. It wasn’t their day, and worst of all, the credit card had been declined for some reason. They were tired, and now having to lug themselves to their mother’s office to get a temporary loan until they could get their first commission payment to stay at another hotel. “Maybe I should have never come here.” They thought aloud.
Thomas frowned a bit when he heard the other. “Hey, are y’alright? Y’seem upset.” He asked softly. “Y’know, there’s always a room at my place open anytime y’need t’come an’ stay.”
