Sebastian shrugged. “Low blows are what make my job a lot less boring. Not that it really is, but sometimes talking to pricks can get old.” He really should stop antagonizing the man. After all, he hasn’t gotten what he needs yet. “I’ll agree with you about trust, thought.” He took a sip of his own beer and smiled at Thomas’ reaction. At least he didn’t have any delusions of grandeur, apparently wanting to remain at the bottom of the heap. Safer for him, probably. “Gladly. You seem to know the most important bits if you’re reacting like that.” Taking another sip of his beer before asking, he went right into it. “I need to know if you’ve heard anything about someone named Sherlock. If you’ve dealt with him at all.”
“I know exactly what you mean.” Tom smiled. Truthfully, it didn’t bother him too much, hell he could hardly complain about insults, given he loved poking at people, still, he couldn’t resist a jab of his own, “They’re usually employees. Sometimes I think their bosses just send them my way to get rid of them for a while.” he grinned, sipping at his drink. He nodded, “Yeah, important guy, your boss, he seems to have his fingers in a lot of non-specific, highly illegal pies. Speaking of fingers, I’d prefer to keep mine, not knowing anything about major players like him is a good way to do that.” he tilted his head, “That detective bloke? He's led a bit of a public life lately, thanks to his flatmate’s little online diary. I read it myself sometimes, I love a good mystery.” he shook his head, “I’ve not dealt with him directly, no. He gets his information from a group of homeless people he’s employed, and as for drugs...” he tilted his head, “Well he comes to this neighbourhood. There’s a place a couple of blocks north that he frequents. Shit prices and crap product over there, but some people have no sense of taste.”
