In honour of Mardi Gras, we thought we'd share an older but not-yet-seen-on-tumblr prompt list. There's no timeline or posting period for this one, but we hope to provide some inspiration for your creative endeavours!
These prompts were created by @bumblingbuttons and @thommybarrow as a Thomas-ship-neutral list, but of course here at @thommy-events we're all about Thommy. If you write a fic based on one of these prompts, you can share it in the Thomas Chonkollection on ao3.
All Chonky Thomas prompts shown in the graphic (with Jimmy as 'Person A') are listed after the cut:
Jimmy takes an item of Thomas's clothing and refuses to give it back. Shenanigans and silliness ensue.
Thomas is complaining about his aching feet/back/shoulders and Jimmy offers to give him a massage.
Jimmy wants to show Thomas how beautiful he is and does this by way of a mirror.
Buttons! A mishap involving the buttons of any item of clothing.
'You don't get to tell me what to do.' 'Right now, I do.' 'Why?' 'Because you can't just eat fifteen biscuits without being sick, now stop eating them, please.'
Jimmy decides to focus his loving attentions on Thomas's cheeks.
Belt.
Jimmy calls Thomas beautiful... In front of others.
A well-loved piece of clothing no longer fits after months and months of denial.
Thomas has a sweet tooth. It gets out of hand and Jimmy is there to witness his reaction.
Jimmy and Thomas take a shower/bath together.
'You are not as heavy as you think, Thomas. I won't break.'
Thomas has been feeling stressed lately and Jimmy keeps bringing him treats to make him feel better. He hadn't thought about the effects this could have on Thomas's figure.
Jimmy is baking and asks Thomas to be his taste tester.
Thomas's weight impacts his job in some way.
Thomas wears something he would never normally wear.
'Give me your hand.' Thomas puts Jimmy's hand somewhere on his body.
'I wouldn't change anything about you. Not one thing.'
'If I'm going to eat like I do, I might as well have a belly to show for it.'
Someone says something negative about Thomas's body, which upsets him more than he thought it would. Someone else becomes a shoulder to cry on when he can't contain his emotions any longer.
