This can go on for a while, iâve seen up to 20. Itâs an old folk poem/ superstition based in seeing birds that arenât native to the area. There are a quite few variations (this link has some of them listed), the most common one iâve seen being One for Sorrow (A Magpie Rhyme). For the most part theyâre pretty similar, and worth looking into.

took me forever to figure it out so i thought it could help some newbie witches
intentions in spells- your intention is why youâre doing what youâre doing
for example, say youâre making a protection spell bag and you put in a piece of obsidian. why? to protect you ie your intention for the obsidian is to protect.
your intention works the same with magic as it does with mundane. you tell your friend that they did a homework question wrong to help them ie your intent was to help.
an easy way to figure out intent is to find the verb that goes with the object action etc. ex- salt is *to cleanse* or you protect yourself *to stay safe*
The French really donât fuck around.
