I don’t care that this isn’t dressage. This is how you prevent massive crashes. Give your horse his head if he’s going through a jump.

Holy fuck, didn’t even realize he dropped the reins until like, the third time watching it….. but literally, a perfect save. It’s true so often; if you let the horse get you out of a sticky situation, instead of trying to fix it yourself, you’ll turn out alright.

Have you ever seen someone look more pleased over a jump? 

I love this little boy so much. I do not know how I got so lucky. This was our third time jumping together, and his fifth time in the ring. He is so brave and he learns so quickly. He is just so good. I am so excited about our future together.

Oh, and lookee what I found! This was from Clover’s first time over a course of 3ft, which was in a Hunter O/F class. She hadn’t seen 3ft before except in a gymnastic haha. Not too shabby, huh?
