A Chance Encounter

Rating: Teen and Up Pairing: Connor Kenway x Original Character Summary: Josephine Darcy and her uncle have just arrived in Boston. Getting in trouble with some redcoats, she meets a certain assassin-in-training for the first time. His mentor doesn’t take too kindly to her either, and a surprise gift from an unknown sender establishes her legacy as the child of a notorious ex-Assassin-turned-Templar. Notes: Originally published in 2022. Slightly updated in 2026 to edit things like changes for better character flow, etc.

As sleep began to take over, she thought about the boy she’d met earlier. Did he manage to escape? Was he unhurt? She wondered if their paths would cross again.
