the walls
the walls have ears; so when you die a little death, make sure you whisper.

Glad to have a little poem of mine on Black Fox Literary Magazine - check them out here and buy a copy here! Thanks for the love <3
your loud skin
your skin whispers quite loudly - I know this, because as you fell asleep arched on the gravel a smile plastered on your face, lit up by headlights, I could only see the sirens.
Little stream whispered into seas of aromatic gold & caught me in mid-embrace with the little mango tree, its etched bark overrun by moss – one shade for every time I hung up my little tire swi…
Thank you to Black Heart Magazine for your love - I hope you enjoy my little poem over there. <3
latest news: one of the biggest newspapers here (The Sun) claimed on their front page that one in five Muslims are extremists which, as we’re all aware, is total balls. Having been banned from Britain First’s Facebook page and in a fit of rage, I have created a Facebook page also called Understanding Islam. Now, I’m not saying that I preach it or that I prescribe to it or even that I know anything at all, but I have done enough reading for a decade or so (in both English and Arabic) to have a better grasp and understanding of it than the ordinary person.
If anyone is interested in my (probably quite frequent) fits of rage and rants on the ignorance that surrounds it (both within and outside of the Muslim community) you’re welcome to find me.
It looks like this at the moment:
midnight clouds outlined by comet tears
at night
You never figured out quite how we felt sorrow in our bodies. But one day you drew a finger down my naked spine and found, wedged between my shoulder blades, the tears on my mother's tombstone.
emotions on skin
i can’t tell stories; my lips are still locked between your regretful teeth

it seemed like the world was spinning from inside the tunnel and then the world WAS spinning.

No, not your eyes; I simply get lost in you.
